5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert 3x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Mounting the TRV

The EZAIOT TRV is designed for easy installation on most radiator valves. Use the appropriate adapter from the included set to ensure a secure fit.

1. Identify your radiator valve type and select the corresponding adapter. The TRV is compatible with M30 x 1.5mm connections directly, and other types via adapters (Danfoss RA, RAV, RAV L, Caleffi, Giacomini, M28).
2. Screw the selected adapter onto your radiator valve.
3. Attach the TRV unit to the adapter, ensuring it is firmly secured.
4. The TRV can be installed vertically or horizontally. The screen orientation can be adjusted later via the app.

5.3 Connecting to Zigbee Gateway and App

To enable remote control and smart features, the TRV must be connected to a Tuya ZigBee wireless gateway and paired with the Smart Life or Tuya Smart App.

1. Ensure your Zigbee Gateway is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi router.
