6. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No audio outputDevice not powered on, not paired, incorrect cable connection, muted microphone, low gain.Ensure all units are powered on and paired. Check cable connections to recording device. Verify microphone is not muted. Adjust receiver gain.
Poor audio quality (noise, static)Interference, distance from receiver, low battery, low-cut filter off in noisy environment.Ensure clear line-of-sight between transmitter and receiver. Charge batteries. Activate 150Hz low-cut filter if ambient noise is present. Avoid strong electromagnetic interference.
Devices not pairingOut of range, pairing error.Bring units closer together. Use the provided eject pin to perform a reset on both the transmitter(s) and receiver, then power cycle.
Short battery lifeOld battery, frequent deep discharge.Ensure full charge before use. Avoid leaving devices fully discharged for extended periods.

8. User Tips

  • Optimal Placement: For best audio quality, position the lavalier microphone (or the built-in mic if used directly) about 6-8 inches from the speaker's mouth.
  • Monitor Audio: Always use headphones connected to the receiver to monitor audio in real-time. This helps catch any issues like clipping, interference, or accidental muting before recording.
  • Use Low-Cut Filter: In outdoor environments or places with ambient low-frequency noise (e.g., air conditioning hum, traffic rumble), activate the 150Hz low-cut filter on the transmitter to improve vocal clarity.
  • Check Battery Levels: Regularly check the battery indicators on both transmitters and the receiver, especially before long recording sessions, to avoid unexpected power loss.
  • Secure Connection: Ensure all cables are securely plugged in to prevent accidental disconnections during recording.
