5. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air quality detector from its packaging. Verify that all components are present.
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C interface on the device and a compatible 5V USB power source. The battery icon on the display will indicate charging status. A full charge provides approximately 4 hours of continuous monitoring.
- Placement: Place the detector on a stable, flat surface using its integrated support frame. Ensure it is positioned in an area where air can circulate freely, away from direct drafts, heat sources, or areas with high moisture. Avoid placing it too close to walls or objects that might obstruct the vents.
6. Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (usually integrated with the Mute On/Off button or a separate button as shown in Figure 2) to turn the device on or off. The LCD display will light up upon activation.
- Monitoring: Once powered on, the device will automatically begin continuous 24-hour monitoring of all 9 air quality parameters. Readings will be displayed in real-time on the LCD screen.
- Reading the Display: Observe the values for Temperature, Humidity, PM2.5, PM10, HCHO, TVOC, CO, CO2, and AQI. The color-coded bar at the bottom of the display provides an intuitive visual indication of the overall air quality level (Good, Slight, Moderate, Serious).
- Mute/Unmute Buzzer: Use the 'Mute On / Off' button or the 'Buzzer Switch' to toggle audible alerts. This is useful if you prefer silent monitoring.
- Using Function Keys (Fn): The 'Fn' (Function) key may allow you to cycle through different display modes, view historical data, or adjust specific settings. Refer to the full PDF manual for detailed instructions on advanced functions.

- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the low battery indicator appears.
- Sensor Longevity: Avoid exposing the device to extremely high concentrations of pollutants for prolonged periods, as this may affect sensor lifespan and accuracy.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C cable and try again.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the device is placed in an open area, away from direct drafts, strong odors, or extreme temperatures. Allow a few minutes for sensors to stabilize after powering on or moving the device.
- Display not working: Check battery level. If the issue persists after charging, contact customer support.
- Buzzer not sounding: Check the 'Mute On / Off' button or 'Buzzer Switch' to ensure it is not muted.
9. User Tips
- For the most accurate readings, especially for HCHO and TVOC, allow the device to operate in a new environment for at least 5-10 minutes to acclimatize.
- Regularly check the AQI level and the color indicator to quickly understand the overall air quality and take appropriate action if levels are moderate or serious.
- Keep the device charged to ensure continuous monitoring, especially if you rely on its 24-hour data.
