The BIGTREETECH HDMI Touch Screens are designed for versatile integration. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on your device.

4.1 General Connection Guidelines

  • Connect the display to your host device (e.g., Raspberry Pi, PC, Manta board) using the provided HDMI cable and adapter if necessary.
  • Power the display using the USB-TypeA to USB-TypeC cable. The display requires a DC 5V power input.
  • For mounting, use the included fixing screws with the designated mounting holes on the display board.

For advanced users, a 4-pin XH2.54 breakout port is available for custom connections via USB protocol, allowing for independent power (DC 5V) and DIY options. Note that the 4-pin XH2.54 socket needs to be purchased and soldered additionally.

5.1 Display Features

5.2 Brightness and Display Direction Adjustment

You can adjust the display's brightness and orientation using the buttons located on the top of the board:

  • Ks1: Increase brightness.
  • Ks3: Decrease brightness.
  • Ks2: Adjust display direction (180° rotation).

  • Incorrect Display Orientation: Use the Ks2 button on the top of the board to adjust the display direction (180° rotation).
  • Flickering Screen: Check all cable connections. Ensure the power supply is stable and sufficient.
  • No Audio (HDMI7 V1.2): Verify headphones are properly plugged into the 3.5mm jack. Check audio settings on the connected host device.
  • No Audio (HDMI5 V1.2): Ensure the built-in speaker is enabled and audio settings on the host device are correctly configured.
