4.1 Mounting the Device
The Imagebon H9 Pro offers various mounting options to suit your vehicle's dashboard. Choose the most suitable method for your car.
- Adhesive Mount: Provides a secure, permanent attachment to your dashboard.
- Suction Mount: Allows for flexible positioning and easy removal, typically attaching to the windshield or a smooth dashboard surface.
- Telescopic Bracket: Offers extended reach and adjustability for optimal viewing angles.

4.2 Wiring and Connections
Connect the necessary cables for power, rear camera, and optional GPS module.
- Power Connection: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V-24V cigarette lighter socket and connect the other end to the DC 12V power input port on the DVR unit.
- Rear Camera (Optional): If you have a rear camera, connect its cable to the AV-In port on the DVR. Ensure the rear camera is connected before powering on the device. For proper reversing functionality, the red wire from the rear camera cable should be connected to your vehicle's reverse light power supply.
- GPS Antenna (Optional): If you have a GPS antenna, connect it to the dedicated GPS port on the DVR.
- Micro SD Card: Insert a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (up to 256GB) into the TF Card Slot for recording.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
The device features a fast cold boot, turning on in approximately 5 seconds when your vehicle starts.

5.2 CarPlay & Android Auto
The H9 Pro supports both wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Wireless Connection: First, pair your mobile phone with the DVR via Bluetooth. Then, connect to the DVR's WiFi signal. CarPlay/Android Auto will automatically launch. (Note: Wireless Android Auto requires Android 10 or above. Huawei mobile phones are not supported for this feature.)
- Wired Connection: Connect your phone to the DVR using a USB 2.0 data cable. Ensure you use an original data cable that supports data transmission.

5.3 Wireless Mirroring (AirPlay/Miracast)
Cast videos, pictures, and music from your mobile phone to the DVR screen.
- Miracast: Directly connect without needing to download an app. (Note: Not supported for Google mobile phones.)
- AirPlay: Connect compatible Apple devices to mirror content.

5.4 Display Modes
The H9 Pro supports various UI display modes, including full screen and split screen. You can customize the display to show navigation, music, dashcam views, or a combination.
- Full Screen Start Window
- Split Screen Start Window
- CarPlay Mode
- Android Auto Mode
- Front/Rear View Full Screen
- Front/Rear View Split Screen
- Full Map
- Map + Music
- Map + Music + Dashcam
You can also select Left or Right driving mode based on your preference.

5.5 Audio Output
Listen to audio through the built-in speaker or your car's audio system.
- Built-in Speaker: The DVR has an integrated speaker for direct audio output.
- FM Transmitter: Tune your car's radio to an unused FM frequency. Then, set the DVR's FM transmitter to the same frequency. Audio will play through your car's speakers.
- AUX Audio Output: Connect the provided AUX cable from the DVR's AUX output to your car's AUX input. This provides high-fidelity audio directly to your car's speakers.
- Bluetooth Audio (Newer Versions): Some newer versions of the device support transmitting audio to your car's speakers via Bluetooth after connecting CarPlay. If your device does not have this function, contact customer service for a firmware update.

5.6 Voice Assistant
In CarPlay or Android Auto mode, you can use Siri or Google Voice Control to manage functions hands-free, enhancing driving safety.

5.7 Recording Features
The H9 Pro records in high definition with both front and rear cameras.
- Dual Dash Cam: Records 4K (3840x2160) from the front camera and 1080P (1920x1080) from the rear camera.
- H.265 Video Code: Optimizes memory usage by approximately 30% compared to H.264.
- Seamless Loop Recording: Records continuously, overwriting the oldest files when the Micro SD card is full. You can set video file lengths to 1, 2, or 5 minutes in the settings.
- 3-Axis G-Sensor: Automatically detects sudden movements or collisions. If vibration is detected, it records a 20-second emergency video and saves it to a protected folder. Sensitivity can be set to low, medium, or high.

5.8 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
The ADAS feature detects your surroundings and provides real-time voice alerts to help prevent accidents.
- Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS): Alerts you if the vehicle drifts out of its lane. If using a GPS active antenna, this warning triggers only above 50 KM/h. Without a GPS antenna, it triggers upon any lane departure.
- Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS): Warns you of potential frontal collisions.
- Front Vehicle Starting Reminder System (FVSR): Notifies you when the vehicle in front starts moving. (Requires optional GPS Antenna for normal function.)

5.9 GPS Navigation & Tracking
The DVR leverages CarPlay and Android Auto for navigation. You can use voice commands to set destinations and plan routes. The DVR itself does not contain built-in GPS navigation software.
With the optional GPS antenna, the device can accurately log your vehicle's location, speed, latitude, longitude, and route. This data can be viewed via the Roadcam App or a GPS player on your computer.

5.10 Real-Time Reverse View
When reversing, the system automatically displays a 1080P full-screen reverse image from the rear camera, complete with guide lines. This helps you accurately gauge distances and road conditions behind your vehicle. The preview angle and guide line position can be adjusted by sliding the left side of the screen.

5.11 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
For continuous 24-hour parking monitoring, the dash cam needs to be connected to a vehicle battery source via a hardwire kit. This ensures a constant power supply, allowing the DVR to record even when the ignition is off. The hardwire kit is not included in the standard package and must be purchased separately.

5.12 5GHz High-speed WiFi
The built-in 5GHz WiFi allows for faster and more stable video transmission. You can connect your mobile phone to the DVR's WiFi to preview real-time images, view historical records, and quickly download videos and pictures using the Roadcam App.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and device body. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- SD Card Care: Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Use a Class 10 or higher card from a reputable brand.
- Temperature: Operate the device within the specified working temperature range of -20℃ to 70℃. Extreme temperatures can affect performance and lifespan.
- Firmware Updates: Keep your device's firmware updated for improved performance and new features. Contact customer service for the latest firmware and update instructions.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Device Does Not Power On / Screen Not Lighting Up:
- Check if the car charger is properly plugged into the vehicle's 12V-24V socket and the DVR's DC 12V power input port.
- If power is confirmed, locate the reset button on the back of the device and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
- If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Contact customer service for potential firmware updates.
- No Sound from the Device:
- If using FM transmitter, ensure the FM transmitter switch is ON and your car radio is tuned to the same frequency.
- If using AUX cable, ensure it is properly connected and your car's audio system input is set to AUX mode.
- If the FM transmitter is ON, the built-in speaker will be muted. Turn off FM to use the built-in speaker.
- Bluetooth Auto-Connection Issues (e.g., Android Auto):
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and paired with the device.
- Try toggling your phone's Bluetooth off and on.
- For persistent issues, contact customer service for potential firmware updates, as newer versions may have improved Bluetooth stability.
- Rear Camera Image Shaking:
- Verify that the rear camera cable is securely plugged into the AV-In port. (Note: The rear camera should be connected before powering on the DVR).
- Restart the device.
- Rear Camera Compatibility: Only Imagebon brand rear cameras are supported. Third-party cameras may not be compatible.
- ADAS Functionality Without GPS: If not using a GPS active antenna, the Lane Departure Warning System will trigger upon any lane departure, without a speed requirement. For Front Vehicle Starting Reminder, a GPS antenna is required for normal function.
- Music and Navigation Voice Conflict (CarPlay): If navigation voice interrupts music and music does not resume, check audio settings within CarPlay or the device. Some devices may not support simultaneous playback of both audio streams. Contact customer service for potential solutions or firmware updates.
- Cannot Change UI / Flip Rear Camera Image: Check the device settings for these options. If not available, contact customer service for firmware updates or specific instructions.
- WiFi Password: The default WiFi password is usually found in the device settings or the included manual. If not, contact customer service.

8. User Tips
- For Wired CarPlay/Android Auto: Always use the original data cable that came with your phone to ensure proper data transmission and stable connection.
- ADAS Performance: For optimal ADAS functionality, especially for speed-dependent warnings, ensure the optional GPS antenna is connected.
- Firmware Updates: Firmware updates can resolve bugs and introduce new features. Always contact Imagebon customer service for official firmware files and instructions. Do not use unofficial firmware to avoid damaging your device.
- Audio Quality: For the best audio experience through your car's speakers, use the AUX cable connection.
- Screen Mirroring: While Miracast generally doesn't require an app, ensure your phone's mirroring feature is enabled and compatible. Note that Google phones may not be supported for Miracast.
