2. Safety Precautions

4. Setup and Assembly

4.2 Physical Installation

2. Connect the NEJE interface switch/transfer board to your machine's control board according to your machine's specific instructions.
3. Attach the 4-pin (30cm) and 2-pin (30cm) cables from the laser module to the interface board.

4.3 Air Assist Setup

The NEJE E40 features a built-in air assist system to improve cutting performance and reduce charring.

1. Connect one end of the 4mm PVC trachea (2m) to the air assist inlet on the top of the laser module.
2. Connect the other end of the PVC trachea to an external air pump (not included) using the provided M8 to M4 connector. Ensure a secure, airtight connection.
3. The air assist system supports a maximum pressure of 1.5 MPa.

5. Operating Instructions

The NEJE E40 module is fixed-focus, simplifying operation. Always perform test engravings on scrap material before starting your main project.

5.1 Focusing

The NEJE E40 module is designed with a fixed focus, meaning no manual adjustment of the lens is required for optimal performance. Simply ensure the module is mounted at the correct focal distance from your material as specified by your laser machine's manufacturer or the NEJE E40 documentation (typically indicated by the protective and focus panel).
