4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Remote Control Battery Installation
- Take out the remote control.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw on the back of the remote control.
- Remove the battery cover and install 2 pieces of AAA 1.5V batteries.
- Ensure not to mix old and new or different types of batteries.
- Replace the battery cover and screw it back in.

4.2. Receiver Installation
The receiver unit connects to the ride-on car's electrical system. Ensure you select the correct receiver type (Type A with 7-pin single-sided socket or Type B with 7-pin four-sided socket) that matches your vehicle's wiring harness.
- Locate the existing receiver or the designated installation area in your ride-on car.
- Carefully connect the vehicle's wiring harness to the corresponding 7-pin socket on the weelye RX18 receiver.
- Secure the receiver in place to prevent movement during operation.

4.3. Frequency Binding (First Use or Battery Replacement)
For the first time using the remote control, or after replacing its batteries, you need to bind the frequency with the receiver:
- Long press the frequency key (usually labeled 'S' or a similar symbol) on the remote control for 2-4 seconds. The low-speed LED lights on the remote will flash.
- Turn on the power of the ride-on car. The low-speed LED lights on the remote will change from flashing to solid light, indicating successful frequency binding.
- If the frequency binding fails (low-speed LED lights continue to flash), remove the remote control batteries and repeat steps 1-3.

5. Operation
5.1. Remote Control Functions
The remote control provides various functions for operating the ride-on car:
- Forward (△): Press to move the car forward.
- Backward (▽): Press to move the car backward.
- Turn Left (<): Press to turn the car left.
- Turn Right (>): Press to turn the car right.
- Speed (S): Adjusts the speed settings (e.g., low, medium, high).
- Emergency Brake (P): Press the 'P' button for an emergency brake. The running function will pause; press it again to release.

5.2. APP Control
Some models may support control via a dedicated mobile application. Refer to your ride-on car's specific instructions for details on downloading and connecting the APP.

6. Maintenance
- Keep the remote control and receiver clean and dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
- Remote control not responding: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power. Re-attempt frequency binding as described in Section 4.3.
- Low-speed LED lights flashing continuously: This indicates a failed frequency binding. Follow the steps in Section 4.3 to re-bind the remote control.
- Remote control without operation after 10 seconds: The remote control will enter power-saving mode. Press any button to reactivate it.
- Car not moving or erratic movement: Check all connections between the receiver and the car's wiring. Ensure the receiver is securely installed.
