- Plug the USB charging cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator light on the USB cable will show the charging status.

5.3 Drone Assembly (if required)
The Eachine E017 is a Ready-to-Go (RTF) model, meaning it comes pre-assembled. However, ensure all propellers are securely attached and the propeller protection design is in place. The propeller protection design helps prevent damage during indoor flights and protects hands from rapidly rotating blades.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Pairing the Drone and Remote Controller
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the drone's power switch. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
- Turn on the remote controller.
- Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
6.2 Basic Flight Controls

- Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw):
- Push up/down: Increase/decrease altitude.
- Push left/right: Rotate drone left/right (yaw).
- Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll):
- Push up/down: Fly forward/backward (pitch).
- Push left/right: Fly left/right (roll).
- Power Switch (6): Turns the remote controller on/off.
- Indicator Light (7): Shows remote controller status.
6.3 Special Flight Functions
Altitude Hold Mode
The E017 features Altitude Hold Mode, which automatically recognizes and locks the drone's altitude after taking off. This allows the drone to hover steadily without further operation, making it easier for beginners to control.

Headless Mode
In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's actual front. This means pushing the right joystick forward will always make the drone fly away from you, and pulling it back will make it fly towards you. This simplifies control, especially for beginners.
- Activation: Short press the Headless Mode button (1) on the remote control.

360° Flip & Roll
Perform exciting aerial stunts with the 360° Flip & Roll feature.
- Activation: Press the rollover mode button (2) on the remote control, then control the right joystick in the desired direction to execute a 360° flip. The E017 will automatically adjust and maintain balance after the stunt.

One Key Return
The One Key Return function allows the drone to automatically return towards the remote controller's general direction.
- Activation: Long press the One Key Return button (1) on the remote control.

Speed Adjustment
The E017 offers three speed modes (high, middle, low) to suit different skill levels and flying environments.
- Adjustment: Press the right joystick vertically down (4) to switch between speed gears.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Battery Care
- Always use the provided USB charging cable for the drone battery.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
- If the drone will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storing.

7.2 Propeller Replacement
In case of damage, replace propellers with the included spare parts. Use the screwdriver to carefully remove and install new propellers, ensuring they are correctly oriented (A and B propellers).

7.3 Cleaning
Wipe the drone and remote controller with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drone does not respond to remote. | Not paired, low battery (drone or remote). | Re-pair the drone and remote. Charge drone battery. Replace remote batteries. |
| Drone drifts during flight. | Not calibrated, uneven surface at takeoff. | Ensure drone is on a flat surface for takeoff. Calibrate the gyroscope (refer to remote control instructions for specific calibration steps). |
| Short flight time. | Battery not fully charged, old battery. | Ensure battery is fully charged (50 minutes). Consider replacing the battery if it's old or damaged. |
| Propellers not spinning. | Obstruction, motor issue, low battery. | Check for any obstructions. Ensure battery is charged. If problem persists, contact support. |
9. User Tips
- Indoor Flying: The E017 is excellent for indoor use due to its small size and propeller guards. Start in a clear area to get accustomed to the controls.
- Practice Makes Perfect: Begin with the lowest speed setting to master basic controls before attempting advanced maneuvers like flips or using Headless Mode.
- Altitude Hold: Utilize the Altitude Hold feature to maintain a stable hover, which is particularly helpful for new pilots learning to navigate.
- Battery Management: Always allow the drone battery to cool down before recharging to prolong its lifespan.
