Operating Instructions

Once the pump is correctly installed and connected to power, it will begin its multi-functional operation.

Working Principle:

The pump utilizes a large filtration area to effectively block large particles. Water passes through super-filtration cotton, purifying the water quality. Biochemical filter media then cultivates nitrifying bacteria, essential for a healthy pond ecosystem.

UV Lamp Operation:

The integrated UV lamp helps sterilize the water, reducing algae and harmful bacteria. You can observe whether the germicidal lamp is in operation through the dedicated observation port on the unit.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your pump.

  1. Filter Media Cleaning/Replacement: The unit features separate filter material boxes. Periodically remove these boxes and clean or replace the filter cotton and other media as needed.
  2. Magnetic Rotor Cleaning: The magnetic rotor is the heart of the pump. To clean or replace it, remove the tool (if applicable) and carefully access the rotor. Clean any debris or buildup.
