5. Setup and Installation

Before starting, ensure your CNC machine is powered off and disconnected from the power source. Always wear appropriate laser safety glasses when working with the laser module.

5.1 Attaching the Laser Module

Connect the laser head to the 'Laser Head' output on the P-DA-01 adapter.
Connect your control board to the 'Control Board' input (either 3PIN or 4PIN depending on your board).
Connect a 12V/24V power adapter to the '12V/24V Power Adapter' input.

6.1 Engraving

The LT-40W-F23 is highly efficient for engraving various materials, including mirror stainless steel without the need for black paint. For stainless steel, engraving speeds can reach up to 800mm/min.

Power Supply: The module requires 12V 1.8A (1.5A-2A) electric power. Using an underpowered supply can lead to inconsistent performance or failure to operate.
