4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera for 3-5 hours. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the camera's charging port (located under a flap at the bottom) and the other end to a standard USB power outlet.

4.2 Inserting a MicroSD/TF Card

The camera supports MicroSD/TF cards from 8GB up to 256GB. Ensure you use a high-speed card (Class 10 or above) for optimal performance. The MicroSD slot is located next to the charging port, under the same protective flap. Insert the card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.

4.3 Attaching the Camera

The camera comes with two types of clips for versatile attachment:

  • Small Attachment Clip: Ideal for securing the camera to a belt or front pocket.
  • Adjustable Clip with Hanging Hook: Offers more flexibility, allowing attachment to various surfaces like a car visor (for dashcam use) or hanging on a wall for motion detection. The clips slide into the slot at the top of the camera.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

To power on the camera, long-press the Power button (located on the side with the moon icon). The LCD screen will display 'Welcome' and then show the live view. To power off, long-press the Power button again.

5.2 Navigating Modes

The camera has three main modes: Video, Photo, and Playback. Short-press the 'M' (Menu) button on the front to cycle through these modes.

5.3 Recording Video

In Video mode (indicated by a video camera icon on the screen), press the 'Record Video' button (top button on the side with the camera icons) to start recording. Press it again to stop recording.

5.4 Taking Photos

In Photo mode (indicated by a camera icon on the screen), press the 'Photo Key' button (second button from the top on the side with the camera icons) to take a picture.

You can choose to 'Delete Current' or 'Delete All', or 'Protect' the file to prevent it from being overwritten during loop recording.

  • Video Resolution: Select from 4K, 1080FHD, 1080P, or 720P. For optimal quality, 1080FHD is recommended.
  • Photo Resolution: Choose from 40M, 21M, 12M, 10M, 8M, 5M, 3M, 2MHD, 1.3M, or VGA.
  • Date/Time: Set the current date and time.
  • Motion Detect: Turn motion detection on or off. When on, the camera will automatically start recording when motion is detected.
  • Loop Recording: Set video segment length to 5 or 10 minutes. When storage is full, the device will overwrite the oldest unprotected files.
  • Image Rotation: Turn image rotation on or off. When on, the image will always display right-side up regardless of camera orientation.
  • Exposure: Adjust exposure settings.
  • Format: Format the MicroSD card directly from the camera.
  • Language: Select your preferred language (e.g., English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Russian).
  • Auto Off: Set the camera to automatically power off after 1, 3, or 5 minutes of inactivity, or turn this feature off.
  • LCD Off: Set the LCD screen to turn off after 1, 2, or 3 minutes, or turn this feature off.
  • Version: Displays the camera's firmware version.
