6. Key Features
6.1. AI Humanoid Detection & Auto Tracking
The camera utilizes an advanced AI algorithm to accurately detect human shapes, minimizing false alarms from pets, insects, or moving objects like curtains and cars. When a human is detected, the camera can automatically track their movement. Once the human leaves the field of view, the camera returns to a pre-set 'daemon position' to continue monitoring a specific area.

6.2. Red-Blue Light Alarm
Upon human detection, the camera's red and blue lights will flash alternately, accompanied by a voice alarm, to deter intruders. An immediate notification will also be sent to your smartphone app.

6.3. H.265 Video Compression
The camera uses H.265 video compression technology, which provides clearer, higher-definition images at a lower bit rate compared to H.264. This results in:
- Reduced storage space requirements (40%-50% smaller file size).
- Faster loading speeds and smoother video playback.

Figure 20: H.265 Video Compression Benefits.
6.4. IP66 Waterproof Rating
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the camera features an IP66 waterproof plastic housing. It is built to withstand various weather conditions, with an operating temperature range of -10°C to +55°C (14°F to 131°F).

Figure 21: IP66 Waterproof Feature.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the iCsee/XMeye app for available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security patches.
- Power Supply: Ensure the camera is connected to a stable DC12V power supply.
- Environmental Conditions: While IP66 rated, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions beyond the specified operating temperature range.
8. Troubleshooting
- Poor Image Quality (4K/8MP): If the image quality is not as expected, ensure the camera's resolution settings in the app are set to the highest available (e.g., 4K/8MP). Also, check your network bandwidth, as lower bandwidth can affect streaming quality.
- Red & Blue Flashing Lights: These lights are part of the AI alarm system. They can be configured or disabled within the camera settings in the iCsee/XMeye app if not desired.
- No Power: Ensure the DC12V power adapter is securely connected to both the camera and a working power outlet.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Verify that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Ensure the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router. If issues persist, try resetting the camera (refer to the reset button location in Figure 5) and re-pairing it with the app.
- NVR Compatibility: The camera supports Onvif protocol, which generally means it can be integrated with Onvif-compatible Network Video Recorders (NVRs). Refer to your NVR's manual for specific setup instructions.
- Limited Wi-Fi Signal Range: The effective Wi-Fi signal range can vary significantly based on environmental factors such as walls, interference from other devices, and router placement. Consider repositioning the camera or router, or using a Wi-Fi extender if range is an issue.
9. User Tips
- Manage Alarm Lights: If the red and blue flashing lights are too intrusive, you can usually turn them off or adjust their behavior in the camera's settings within the iCsee/XMeye app.
- Check Resolution Settings: For optimal video clarity, always ensure your camera's resolution is set to its maximum (e.g., 4K/8MP) in the app settings.
- 2.4GHz WiFi Only: Remember that the camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. If you have a dual-band router, make sure you connect to the 2.4GHz band during setup.
- NVR Integration: For users with NVRs, check the camera's Onvif support for seamless integration with your existing surveillance system. The camera is compatible with iCsee/XMeye apps.
- Digital Zoom: The camera features 4X digital zoom. While useful, keep in mind that digital zoom can reduce image quality compared to optical zoom.
