1. Introduction

The G40S Voice Remote Control is a versatile 2.4G wireless air mouse designed for seamless interaction with various smart devices. 3. Setup

3.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in the package:

  • 1 x G40S Voice Remote Control
  • 1 x Nano Receiver
  • 1 x User Manual (this document)

3.2 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the G40S remote control.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.3 Connecting the Nano Receiver

  1. Plug the Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your device (e.g., Android TV Box, PC, Projector).
  2. The device should automatically recognize the receiver. No additional drivers are typically required.
  3. The remote control should now be ready for use in 2.4G wireless mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 2.4G Wireless Mode

In 2.4G mode, a green indicator light will be used for operation indication. The remote functions as an air mouse and wireless keyboard.

4.2 Voice Search

To use the voice search function, simply press the dedicated voice button (microphone icon) and speak your command or query into the remote's built-in microphone. Your connected device will then process the voice input.

4.3 Air Mouse Function

The G40S utilizes a 6-axis gyroscope to enable air mouse functionality. Move the remote in the air to control the cursor on your screen. This is particularly useful for navigating interfaces that are designed for mouse input.

4.4 Switching to Infrared (IR) Mode

To switch the remote to infrared remote control mode, press the [ Set ] button. In IR mode, a red indicator light will be used for operation indication.

4.5 IR Learning Function

The G40S supports IR learning for 33 buttons, allowing it to learn commands from other infrared remote controls. This enables you to consolidate multiple remotes into one.

  1. Enter Learning Mode: Press and hold the [ Set ] button for 3 seconds. The red LED light will flash rapidly, indicating that the remote has entered infrared programming custom mode.
  2. Select Button to Learn: Press the button on the G40S remote that you wish to program. The red indicator light will change to slow flashing.
  3. Transmit IR Code: Point the emission tube of your original infrared remote control towards the emission tube of the G40S remote (approximately 2-3cm apart). Press the button on the original remote that you want the G40S to learn.
  4. Confirm Learning: When the G40S recognizes the infrared code, the red LED light will change from long on to fast flashing, indicating successful learning.
  5. Exit Learning Mode: Press the [ Set ] button to exit the infrared learning mode.

4.6 Preset A, B, C Buttons

The A, B, and C buttons on the G40S remote have preset functions, often linked to popular streaming services or applications. A long press on these buttons will activate their respective preset functions.

4.7 Factory Reset

To restore the remote control to its factory settings, press and hold the [ Set ] and [ Del ] buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The red LED will flash to confirm the reset.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Compatibility Issues

The G40S Voice Remote Control may not be compatible with Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, or certain models of Samsung, LG, Sony, and Mi smart TVs and Mi TV Boxes. Please verify compatibility with your specific device before use.

7.2 Remote Not Responding

  • Check if the batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Ensure the Nano Receiver is securely plugged into a USB port on your device.
  • Try plugging the Nano Receiver into a different USB port.
  • Perform a factory reset (refer to Section 4.7).

7.3 Erratic Cursor Movement

  • If the air mouse cursor is behaving erratically, try performing a factory reset (refer to Section 4.7). This can recalibrate the gyroscope.
  • Ensure there are no strong electromagnetic interferences nearby.
