- Mechanical inspection
- Electrical fault detection (e.g., distribution boxes, motors)
- HVAC system inspection (e.g., pipe leaks)
- DIY repair detection
- Energy auditing
- Facility maintenance
- Auto repair
- Floor heating detection
- Water pipe leak detection
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in its carrying case in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and high humidity.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
- Environmental Protection: The TI120 has an IP65 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. However, it is not designed for submersion.
Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Image unclear/blurry: Check if the lens is clean. Adjust the focus if available (this model has fixed focus). Ensure proper distance to the object.
- Temperature readings seem inaccurate: Verify the emissivity setting is correct for the material being measured. Ensure there are no strong heat sources interfering with the measurement area.
- Cannot transfer files to PC: Ensure the USB cable is properly connected and the device is in USB Drive mode. Check PC software installation.
