The VJOYCAR M41 Plus HUD is designed for plug-and-play installation using the EUOBD & OBD cable (full 16 pins).

3.1. Compatibility Check

The OBD2 working mode may not be compatible with all vehicles. Please note the following:

  • Almost 98% of cars manufactured before the year 2004 (including 2004) are not compatible.
  • Some older oil and electricity mixing vehicles, diesel-powered cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, ORVs, and mini-buses may not be compatible.
  • A few special cars manufactured after 2008 might also not be compatible with standard OBD2 protocols.

If you are unsure about your vehicle's compatibility, please consult your vehicle's manual or contact customer support.

3.2. Installation Steps

  1. Connect OBD Cable: Locate your car's OBD2 interface (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side) and connect one end of the provided OBD cable.
  2. Hide OBD Cable: Carefully route and hide the OBD cable along the seams of your car's interior to ensure a neat and secure installation. The included crowbar tool can assist with tucking the cable.
  3. Connect to HUD: Connect the other end of the OBD cable to the HUD unit. Once connected, the HUD should power on with the engine.
