Setup Instructions

Before connecting, ensure all devices are powered off. Use high-quality HDMI 2.1 cables for optimal performance, especially for 8K and 4K@120Hz resolutions. The length of each HDMI cable connected to the switch should not exceed 3 meters (approximately 9.8 feet) to prevent signal degradation or screen flickering.

Mode 1: 2 In 1 Out (Switch)

This mode allows you to connect two HDMI source devices to one HDMI display and switch between them.

  1. Connect your first HDMI source device (e.g., PS5, Xbox, PC) to the HDMI 1 port on the switch using an HDMI cable.
  2. Connect your second HDMI source device (e.g., Set-Top Box, Laptop) to the HDMI 2 port on the switch using an HDMI cable.
  3. Connect your HDMI display (e.g., TV, monitor) to the HDMI port (single port, often labeled "HDMI Out" or similar) on the switch using an HDMI cable.
  4. (Optional) If experiencing unstable signal or power issues, connect a USB-C power cable from the switch's DC 5V port to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, TV USB port).

Mode 2: 1 In 2 Out (Splitter - Non-Simultaneous)

This mode allows you to connect one HDMI source device to two HDMI displays and switch which display receives the signal. Note: Only one display can be active at a time.

  1. Connect your HDMI source device (e.g., PS5, Xbox, PC) to the HDMI port (single port, often labeled "HDMI In" or similar) on the switch using an HDMI cable.
  2. Connect your first HDMI display to the HDMI 1 port on the switch using an HDMI cable.
  3. Connect your second HDMI display to the HDMI 2 port on the switch using an HDMI cable.
  4. (Optional) If experiencing unstable signal or power issues, connect a USB-C power cable from the switch's DC 5V port to a USB power source.

Troubleshooting

  • No Signal or Flickering Screen:
    • Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the switch and your devices.
    • Verify that the HDMI cables used are HDMI 2.1 compliant, especially for 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz resolutions.
    • Check the length of your HDMI cables. Cables connected to the switch should not exceed 3 meters (approximately 9.8 feet) each. Longer cables can lead to signal loss or instability.
    • Ensure your source device and display both support the desired resolution and refresh rate. For example, to achieve 4K@120Hz, both your gaming console (e.g., PS5, Xbox Series X) and your TV/monitor must support it.
    • Connect the USB-C power cable to the switch's DC 5V port and a reliable USB power source. Some HDMI devices may not provide sufficient power, leading to signal issues.
    • Try restarting all connected devices (source, switch, display).
  • Only one display works in 1 In 2 Out (Splitter) Mode:
    • This is the intended functionality of the device in splitter mode. It is designed to switch between two displays, not to show the same content on both simultaneously. Use the "SELECT" button to switch the active display.
  • Picture Quality Issues (e.g., blurry, distorted):
    • Ensure all HDMI cables are of high quality and properly seated.
    • Check the resolution settings on your source device and display to ensure they are compatible and correctly configured.
    • Try connecting the source directly to the display to rule out the switch or cables as the cause.

User Tips

  • Gaming Enhancement: For an optimal gaming experience, connect your PS5 or Xbox Series X to an 8K TV via this HDMI switch to achieve smooth 4K@120Hz output.
  • Space-Saving Design: The switch's compact, palm-sized design ensures it won't take up much space on your desk or entertainment center.
  • Convenient Switching: The one-key switch eliminates the need for repeatedly plugging and unplugging HDMI cables, simplifying your setup.
  • Plug and Play: The device is designed for easy setup. Simply connect your HDMI cables and, if necessary, the 5V USB-C power supply for stable transmission.
  • Versatile Use: Ideal for various scenarios including studying, entertainment, and professional work, offering seamless switching between multiple video sources or displays.
