System Requirements
Before connecting your keyboard, ensure your device meets the following requirements:
- Logi Bolt USB Receiver: Available USB port. Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11 or later; macOS 10.15 or later; Chrome OS™; Linux®.
- Bluetooth Low Energy: Bluetooth low energy wireless technology. Compatible with Windows 10 or later; macOS 10.15 or later; iPadOS 14.0 or later; iOS 14.0 or later; Chrome OS™; Linux; Android 8.0 or higher.
- Internet connection for downloading Logi Options+ software (optional, for advanced customization).
Connecting Your Keyboard
The Logitech K855 offers two connection methods: Logi Bolt USB Receiver or Bluetooth Low Energy.
Method 1: Using the Logi Bolt USB Receiver
- Locate the Logi Bolt USB receiver in your keyboard's packaging.
- Plug the Logi Bolt USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the keyboard. It should automatically connect to the receiver.
Method 2: Using Bluetooth Low Energy
- Turn on your keyboard.
- Activate Bluetooth on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone).
- On your keyboard, press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (usually F1, F2, or F3, indicated by a Bluetooth icon) until the LED indicator starts blinking rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Logitech K855" from the list.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The LED indicator on the keyboard will turn solid when connected.

Operating Instructions
Basic Keyboard Functions
The Logitech K855 features an 84-key layout with standard alphanumeric keys, function keys, and navigation keys. The mechanical TTC red switches provide a smooth, linear feel for comfortable and responsive typing.
Easy-Switch Functionality
The keyboard supports connecting to up to three devices simultaneously. Use the Easy-Switch keys (typically F1, F2, F3) to seamlessly switch between your paired devices. Press the desired Easy-Switch key to instantly connect to the corresponding device.
Function Keys (Fn)
The function keys (F1-F12) can perform special actions when pressed in combination with the 'Fn' key. These actions may include media control, volume adjustment, and other system shortcuts. Refer to your device's operating system for specific Fn key functionalities.
Logi Options+ Software (Optional)
For advanced customization, download and install the Logi Options+ software. This software allows you to:
- Reassign keys to perform custom actions.
- Adjust keyboard settings.
- Manage connected devices.
- Utilize Logitech Flow with compatible mice for seamless multi-computer control.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, clean your keyboard regularly:
- Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keys and surface.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.
- For debris between keys, use compressed air.
Battery Replacement
The Logitech K855 keyboard has a battery life of up to 36 months, depending on usage. When the battery indicator light signals low power, replace the batteries:
- Turn off the keyboard.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard (refer to Figure 2).
- Open the compartment and remove the old batteries.
- Insert new batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment and turn on the keyboard.
Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Connecting
- Check Power: Ensure the keyboard is turned on and has sufficient battery power.
- USB Receiver: If using the Logi Bolt receiver, ensure it is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
- Bluetooth: If using Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is in pairing mode (blinking LED). Remove "Logitech K855" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
- Distance: Ensure the keyboard is within the 10-meter wireless reception range of your device.
- Interference: Move away from other wireless devices or sources of interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
Keys Not Responding
- Battery: Replace the batteries if the battery indicator is low.
- Connection: Re-establish the connection (see "Keyboard Not Connecting").
- Cleaning: Check for debris under the keys and clean as described in the Maintenance section.
Lag or Delayed Input
- Interference: Reduce wireless interference.
- Distance: Ensure the keyboard is close to the receiver or Bluetooth device.
- Battery: Low battery can affect performance. Replace if needed.
