  • Universal Compatibility: Features a universal 1/4" threaded screw for direct mounting of panoramic cameras, sports cameras, and cell phone holders.
  • Durable Construction: Made from strong and durable aluminum alloy.
  • Comfortable Grip: Equipped with a new silicone handle for enhanced comfort during use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Extending and Retracting the Pole

To extend the selfie stick, firmly grasp the handle and pull the top section upwards. Continue pulling each section until the desired length is achieved. The pole features a damped extension mechanism for stable support and to reduce shaking during use. To retract, push each section back into the main body.

5.2 Achieving the "Invisible" Effect

For the selfie stick to appear "invisible" in your footage, you must use it with a compatible Insta360 panoramic camera (e.g., Insta360 ONE X2, Insta360 ONE RS/R 360° panoramic lens, Insta360 ONE X). The camera's software stitches the footage in a way that removes the stick from view, creating a unique third-person perspective.

The Ulanzi selfie stick is suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities and sports, including skiing, surfing, motorcycling, skateboarding, soccer, parkour, riding, and kayaking. Its extendable nature allows for high-angle shots and dynamic perspectives.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the selfie stick with a soft, dry cloth after each use, especially after exposure to water, dust, or sand.
  • Storage: Store the selfie stick in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is fully retracted before storage.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all parts for any signs of wear or damage. Do not use if any part is broken or compromised.
  • Avoid Force: Do not apply excessive force when extending or retracting the pole to prevent damage to the internal mechanism.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Pole not extending/retracting smoothly: Check for any debris or obstructions in the sections. Clean thoroughly. If the issue persists, avoid forcing it and contact support.
  • Camera not stable: Ensure the camera is securely tightened onto the 1/4" screw. Check if the camera's mount is compatible and not worn.
  • "Invisible" effect not working: Verify that your camera is a compatible Insta360 panoramic model and that you are using the correct camera settings and software for stitching.
  • Wrist strap detaching: Ensure the wrist strap is properly threaded and secured through the loop at the base of the stick.
