4. Setup and Blade Installation
Your WORKPRO Utility Folding Knife comes with 10 replacement blades. Follow these steps to install or change a blade:
- Ensure Safety: Always handle the blade with extreme care. If replacing a blade, ensure the old blade is safely removed and disposed of.
- Access Blade Holder: With the knife folded, locate the quick-release button/lever on the blade holder.
- Release Old Blade (if applicable): Press the quick-release button/lever (labeled 'Push' in diagram) and slide out the old blade.
- Insert New Blade: Align the new SK5 blade with the slots in the blade holder. Push the quick-release button/lever and carefully slide the new blade into position until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the blade is fully seated and locked.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Opening the Knife
- Hold the knife firmly with the handle.
- Carefully pivot the blade assembly outwards until it fully extends and the folding lock engages. You should hear and feel a click, indicating the blade is securely locked in the open position.
5.2 Using the Knife
Once the blade is open and locked, you can use it for various cutting tasks. Always apply appropriate pressure and cut away from your body. The knife is suitable for general utility tasks, including cutting pipes, cardboard, and other materials.
5.3 Closing the Knife
- Locate the folding lock mechanism on the handle.
- Press the lock to disengage it, allowing the blade assembly to pivot.
- Carefully fold the blade assembly back into the handle until it is fully retracted and secured.
