4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Dimensions

The unit is a One Din car stereo. Please ensure your vehicle's dashboard opening matches the dimensions below:

4.2 Wiring Connections

  • IR (Remote receiver): Receives signals from the remote control.
  • MIC: Built-in microphone for hands-free calling.
  • Volume - / Volume +: Adjusts the audio volume.
  • Power/Mute: Short press to mute/unmute, long press to power on/off.
  • Memory card slot (TF/Micro SD): Insert TF/Micro SD card for media playback.
  • TYPE-C interface: For data transfer or charging.
  • U disk (USB): Insert USB drive for media playback or charging.
  • Home page: Returns to the main menu.
  • In a song (Previous): Skips to the previous track.
  • Next song: Skips to the next track.
  • Charging mouth (USB): Dedicated USB port for charging devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Long press the Power/Mute button on the front panel.
  • Volume Control: Use the Volume +/- buttons on the front panel or remote control.
  • Mute: Short press the Power/Mute button.
  • Navigation: Use the touchscreen or remote control to navigate through menus and applications.

5.2 Bluetooth (BT) Connection

The unit supports BT 5.0 for stable transmission, hands-free calling, and music playback.

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu on the car stereo.
  2. Select "Bluetooth" and turn it on.
  3. On your mobile phone, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "5W150" (or similar name).
  4. Confirm pairing on both devices.
  5. Once connected, you can make/receive calls and stream audio from your phone.

5.3 FM Radio

Enjoy anti-interference FM radio with stable signal reception.

  • Select the "Radio" icon from the home screen.
  • Use the on-screen controls to scan for stations, manually tune, or select presets.
  • The radio can search for stations even in remote areas.

5.4 Media Playback (TF Card / U-Disk)

The unit supports TF card and U-disk (USB drive) for playing various media formats.

  • Insert a TF card into the memory card slot or a U-disk into one of the USB ports.
  • The unit will automatically detect the media and display playback options.
  • Supported formats include:

    • Video: RM, RMVB, AVI, MP4, MKV, 3GP, VIDEO CD

5.5 Phone Interconnection (Carplay/Android Auto)

The player supports mirroring your mobile phone's content to the MP5 screen, compatible with Android (below 10 or 8P) and iOS systems.

  1. Connect your smartphone to the car stereo via a USB cable.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to enable phone interconnection.
  3. Your phone's interface (e.g., navigation, music apps) will be displayed on the car stereo screen.

5.6 Reversing Camera Display

When connected to a reversing camera, the unit automatically displays the rear view when the vehicle is in reverse gear.

  • The system supports high-clear reversing images.
  • You can adjust the up and down angles for a more accurate view.

5.7 Steering Wheel Control

Poor Radio Reception:
