Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The Smart Radiator Thermostat uses 2 x 1.5V non-rechargeable AA batteries. When the battery level is low, the thermostat's LED indicator will show a specific pattern (as described in the LED and Button Rules section) and you may receive an alert in the Meross app. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
Cleaning
To clean the device, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these may damage the device.
Troubleshooting
Temperature Inaccuracy
If the displayed temperature is not accurate, you can use the 'Temperature Calibration' feature in the Meross app's device settings to adjust it. If temperature control seems inaccurate, enable 'Engine Calibration' in the app.
Disconnections or Unstable Performance
Ensure your device's firmware is up to date. Follow the firmware update instructions in the 'Setup Guide' section. Also, verify that your Meross Hub is connected to a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and has a solid green LED indicator.
Compatibility Issues
Before purchasing or installing, always check the compatible list provided by Meross to ensure your existing radiator valves are supported. For example, while the thermostat is compatible with M30x1.5 valves and includes various adapters, specific brands like Honeywell may require checking for direct compatibility.
Low Battery Alert
If you receive a low battery alert, replace the AA batteries in the Smart Radiator Thermostat as soon as possible to avoid interruption of service.
