5. Setup and Installation
5.1. Wiring the PCB Control Board
WARNING: Electrical installation should only be performed by a qualified technician. Ensure power is disconnected before attempting any wiring.

Refer to the diagram above for connection points. Key connections include:
- Power Input (N, L): Connect the main AC power supply (220V-240V 50/60Hz) to these terminals.
- Compressor Output (COMP): Connect the compressor unit of your air conditioner here.
- Relays (RY1-RY6): These relays control various functions such as indoor fan, outdoor fan, swing, and reversing valve. Connect according to your specific air conditioner's wiring diagram.
- Sensors (DMT2, T-OUT, T-IN, F-IN): Connect the provided temperature sensors to their respective ports. T-IN is typically for indoor temperature, T-OUT for outdoor, and F-IN for evaporator coil temperature.
- Display Panel: Connect the digital display panel to its designated port on the PCB.
- Transformer: Connect the power transformer to provide the necessary DC12V output to the control board.
5.2. Mobile App Download (WIFIBO App)
The QD68WI+ system can be controlled via the WIFIBO mobile application. You can download the app using one of the following methods:

- Scan QR Code: Use your smartphone's camera or a QR code scanner app to scan the provided QR code for direct download.
- App Stores: Search for "WIFIBO" in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Market (for Android devices) and download the official application.
5.3. Device Configuration and Wi-Fi Pairing
After installing the hardware and downloading the app, follow these steps to configure your device and connect it to Wi-Fi:
- Log In to the App: Open the WIFIBO app and log in with your account. If you don't have one, register for a new account.
- Add Device: From the app's home screen, click on "Add device" or the '+' icon to add a new device. Select "AC Controller" from the list of device types.
- Reset the Device: Before pairing, you need to reset the QD68WI+ device.
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Press and hold the "SWING" button on the display panel.
- Release the button when the Wi-Fi icon on the screen starts flashing. This indicates the device is in pairing mode.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: In the app, you will be prompted to enter your Wi-Fi router's password.
- Enter the correct password for your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz networks are not supported).
- Confirm the password. The app will display a connection progress.
- Device Added: Once connected, the app will confirm that the device has been added successfully. Click "Done" to enter the control interface.

6. Operation
6.1. Using the Remote Control
The included infrared remote control allows for direct adjustment of the air conditioner settings. Functions typically include:
- ON/OFF: Power the unit on or off.
- MODE: Cycle through operating modes (e.g., Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto).
- FAN: Adjust fan speed (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- SWING: Control the louver swing function.
- TEMP +/-: Adjust the desired temperature.
- TIMER: Set on/off timers.
6.2. Using the Mobile App (WIFIBO)
The WIFIBO app provides comprehensive control and monitoring capabilities from your smartphone.

- Remote Control: Adjust temperature, mode, fan speed, and swing from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Scheduling: Set up schedules for your air conditioner to turn on/off or change settings automatically.
- Monitoring: View current room temperature and system status.
- Cloud Integration: The system leverages a cloud database for seamless control and application integration.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the display panel and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA batteries in the remote control when the display becomes dim or the remote becomes unresponsive.
- Firmware Updates: Check the WIFIBO app periodically for any available firmware updates for your control board to ensure optimal performance and new features.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the control board and display unit are installed in an environment within the specified working temperature range (0°C-50°C) and away from excessive moisture or direct sunlight.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The system does not support 5 GHz networks.
- Verify that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Make sure the device is in pairing mode (Wi-Fi icon flashing on the display). If not, perform the reset procedure (Section 5.3).
- Check the distance between the device and your Wi-Fi router. Move them closer if possible.
- Remote control not working:
- Check and replace the AAA batteries in the remote control.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the display panel's IR receiver.
- Incorrect temperature readings:
- Verify that the temperature sensors are correctly connected to the PCB.
- Ensure sensors are not placed in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in drafts that could affect readings.
- Air conditioner not responding to commands:
- Check all wiring connections on the PCB, especially to the compressor and fan relays.
- Ensure the main power supply to the control board and the AC unit is stable.
- Confirm that the control board is compatible with your specific AC unit's electrical requirements and BTU capacity.
9. User Tips
- Cable Length: If installing the control panel at a significant distance from the main PCB, verify the length of the control panel cable. If an extended length (e.g., 12-15 meters) is required, ensure you use appropriate gauge wiring to prevent signal degradation or power loss.
- AC Unit Compatibility: Before installation, always confirm that the QD68WI+ system's electrical specifications and relay capacities (e.g., 20A for compressor) are compatible with your air conditioner's BTU rating and power requirements. For example, a 60,000 BTU A/C unit may have different power demands than smaller units.
- Wi-Fi Network: For optimal performance, ensure your Wi-Fi router is configured to use a 2.4 GHz band, as the QD68WI+ system does not support 5 GHz networks.
