1. Introduction

4. Controls and Indicators

The front panel of the Kinter MA-180 amplifier features several controls for adjusting your audio experience:

  • POWER: Main power switch.
  • BASS (-10 to +10): Adjusts the low-frequency audio output.
  • TREBLE (-10 to +10): Adjusts the high-frequency audio output.
  • BALANCE (L/R): Adjusts the audio balance between the left and right channels.
  • VOLUME (MIN/MAX): Controls the overall audio output level. The volume knob also features a colorful light cup indicator.

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your Kinter MA-180 amplifier:

  1. Connect Speakers: Connect your passive speakers to the "SPEAKER IMPEDANCE 4Ω-16Ω" terminals on the rear panel. Ensure the left speaker is connected to the "L" terminals (左音箱) and the right speaker to the "R" terminals (右音箱), observing polarity (+ and -).
  2. Connect Audio Input:
    • For MP3/VCD/DVD players or computers/mobile phones (手机/电脑), use the "AUDIO IN" RCA jacks or the 3.5mm MP3 input jack.
  3. Connect Power: Connect a DC 9-14V power supply (above 2A recommended) to the "input power DC12V-5A" jack (电源 DC12V).
  4. USB Output (Charging Only): The "USB OUT" port provides 5V output for charging MP3/MP4 devices. It does not support U disk playback (不支持U盘播放).

Important: Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the amplifier.

6. Operation

  1. Power On: After connecting all cables, turn on the amplifier using the POWER switch on the front panel. The volume knob's colorful light cup will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Volume: Start with the VOLUME knob set to minimum (MIN) and gradually increase it to your desired listening level.
  3. Adjust Tone: Use the BASS and TREBLE knobs to fine-tune the low and high frequencies according to your preference.
  4. Adjust Balance: If needed, use the BALANCE knob to adjust the audio distribution between the left and right speakers.
  5. Audio Source: Ensure your connected audio source (e.g., MP3 player, computer) is playing audio.
  6. Power Off: When finished, turn off the amplifier using the POWER switch.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the amplifier in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure proper airflow around the unit to prevent overheating, especially given its aluminum alloy heat dissipation design.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the amplifier.
  • Disconnect the power supply if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
