8. Maintenance
8.1. Low Battery Warning & Charging (Alarm Unit)
If the alarm unit's battery is low, when you press the Arm Button (
) or Disarm Button (
) on the remote, the alarm will emit additional low-battery prompt sounds. To charge, open the USB-C port cover and connect the original USB cable to a 5V power adapter (not included). The red indicator light will be on during charging and turn off when fully charged.
8.2. Remote Control Battery Replacement
If the remote control's battery is low, its wireless range will be reduced, or the indicator light may no longer illuminate or appear weak. In this case, replace the remote control battery.
- Unscrew the screw on the remote control with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Pry at the gap with a small flat screwdriver, then slide up and down to expand and open the switch.
- Push out the old battery with a flat blade screwdriver.
- Insert a new battery (WL03C: 27A (12V) Alkaline battery; WL09C: CR2032 (3V) Button battery), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the remote control and secure it with the screw.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1. Remote Control Cannot Control the Alarm
- Check Remote Battery: If the remote control indicator no longer lights up or lights weakly, replace the remote control battery.
- Alarm Activation: The alarm is in a low power consumption mode when you receive it. In this mode, the remote cannot control the alarm. Please charge the alarm for at least 1 minute to activate it before use.
- Re-pair Remote: If the alarm has been charged and activated, but the remote still doesn't work, try pairing the remote and alarm again (refer to Section 7.1).
9.2. Reduced Wireless Range or Alarm Volume
- Remote Battery: A low remote battery can reduce wireless range. Replace the battery if necessary.
- Installation Location: Concealed installation of the alarm can lower the alarm volume. Avoid installing the alarm in confined spaces made of metal, as metal can shield wireless signals and reduce range.

11. User Tips
- Multiple Alarms: If you are using multiple WSDCAM alarms, ensure each alarm is uniquely paired with its designated remote control to prevent one remote from activating all alarms simultaneously.
- Optimal Placement: For best performance, avoid installing the alarm in enclosed metal compartments, as this can reduce wireless range and muffle the alarm sound.
- Initial Charge: Always perform the initial charge and activation as described in Section 3 to ensure full functionality.
