Setup
1. Battery Installation
Insert AAA batteries into both the main receiver unit and the remote outdoor sensor. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated in the battery compartments. Batteries are not included.
2. Sensor Placement
The ThermoPro TP63C system includes one main receiver unit and one remote sensor. Additional remote sensors (up to 3 total) can be purchased separately to monitor more locations.
Main Receiver Unit Placement:
The main unit offers multiple placement options:
- Tabletop Stand: Use the integrated stand to place it on any flat surface.
- Wall Mount: Utilize the hanging hole on the back to mount it on a wall.
- Magnetic Back: The magnetic back allows it to be adsorbed onto metal surfaces, such as a refrigerator.
Remote Outdoor Sensor Placement:
Place the remote sensor in a location where it can accurately measure outdoor conditions and transmit data to the main unit. Consider the following:
- Range: The sensor has a wireless range of up to 200ft/60m. Ensure it is within this range of the main unit.
- Protection: While the sensor is weather-resistant, placing it in a shaded area protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain will prolong its lifespan and improve accuracy.
- Multiple Sensors: If using multiple remote sensors, ensure each is placed in a distinct area you wish to monitor.

Operating Instructions
1. Display Overview
The main unit's display shows both indoor ('IN') and outdoor ('OUT') temperature and humidity. It also features trend arrows indicating whether temperature and humidity are rising, falling, or remaining stable.

2. Backlight Function
The display features a touch-controlled backlight for easy viewing in low-light conditions. Simply touch the light bulb icon on the front of the main unit to activate the backlight.

3. Max/Min Records
The device records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity readings over a 24-hour period or since the last reset. Refer to the specific buttons on your device (usually labeled 'MAX/MIN' or similar) to cycle through these records.
4. Celsius/Fahrenheit Switching
You can switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units. This option is typically found via a button on the back or side of the main unit, or by pressing a specific button on the front display.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous and accurate readings.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- No Display/Faint Display: Check battery installation and replace with fresh AAA batteries if necessary.
- No Outdoor Reading: Ensure the remote sensor is within the 200ft/60m wireless range of the main unit. Try repositioning both units closer to each other or away from large metal objects or electronic interference. Re-sync the sensor if applicable (refer to specific device instructions for re-syncing).
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure both units are placed in appropriate locations (e.g., outdoor sensor not in direct sunlight or near heat sources). Allow sufficient time for readings to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
User Tips
- For the most accurate outdoor temperature and humidity readings, place the remote sensor in a shaded area that is well-ventilated and protected from direct precipitation.
- Consider using high-quality alkaline batteries for longer battery life, especially in colder outdoor conditions.
- If you experience intermittent signal loss, try rotating the remote sensor or main unit slightly to improve the wireless connection.
