Setup

1. Battery Charging and Installation

  1. Connect the quick charger to a power outlet.
  2. Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
  3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
  4. Align the charged battery pack with the battery port on the saw handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
  5. To remove the battery, press the release button and slide the battery out.

2. Blade Installation and Replacement

  1. Safety First: Always ensure the battery pack is removed from the saw before changing blades.
  2. Press and hold the spindle lock button.
  3. Use the provided hex key to loosen the blade retaining screw by turning it counter-clockwise.
  4. Remove the outer flange and the old blade.
  5. Clean any dust or debris from the blade flanges and spindle.
  6. Place the new blade onto the spindle, ensuring the rotation arrow on the blade matches the rotation arrow on the saw's guard.
  7. Replace the outer flange and the blade retaining screw.
  8. Press and hold the spindle lock button again and tighten the blade retaining screw clockwise with the hex key until secure. Do not overtighten.

Choosing the Right Blade:

  • 24T TCT Blade: Ideal for cutting wood.
  • 60T HSS Blade: Suitable for cutting plastic and soft metals.
  • Diamond Blade: Designed for cutting tiles.

3. Adjusting Cutting Depth

  1. Loosen the cutting depth adjustment lever/knob.
  2. Adjust the base plate to achieve the desired cutting depth. The maximum cutting depth at 90° is 48mm (1-11/16").
  3. Tighten the adjustment lever/knob securely.

4. Adjusting Bevel Angle (0-45°)

  1. Loosen the angle lock button.
  2. Tilt the base plate to the desired bevel angle between 0° and 45°. The maximum cutting depth at 45° is 32mm (1-1/8").
  3. Tighten the angle lock button firmly to secure the angle.

5. Attaching the Parallel Guide

  1. Slide the parallel guide into the slot on the front of the saw's base plate.
  2. Adjust the guide to the desired cutting width.
  3. Tighten the lock screw for the guide fence to secure it in place.

6. Laser Guide Activation

The saw is equipped with a Class 2 laser guide for enhanced cutting precision. To activate the laser, locate the laser switch on the top of the saw and turn it ON. Ensure the laser line aligns with your desired cut path.

7. Dust Collection

Attach a vacuum cleaner hose to the vacuum cleaner interface on the saw to minimize dust during operation. This helps maintain a cleaner work environment and improves visibility of the cutting line.

Operation

1. Powering On/Off (Safety Switch)

  1. To start the saw, first press the safety button (usually located near the trigger).
  2. While holding the safety button, press the switch trigger to activate the saw.
  3. To turn off the saw, release the switch trigger. The safety button will automatically reset.

2. Cutting Techniques

  • Straight Cutting: Use the parallel guide and laser guide for accurate straight cuts. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped.
  • Plunge Cutting: For cuts starting in the middle of a workpiece, carefully lower the rotating blade into the material.
  • Bevel Cutting: After setting the desired bevel angle (0-45°), proceed with the cut, ensuring the saw's base plate is stable on the workpiece.

3. Material-Specific Cutting

  • Wood: Use the 24T TCT blade.
  • Plastic/Soft-Metal: Use the 60T HSS blade.
  • Tile: Use the Diamond blade.

Always ensure the correct blade is installed for the material you are cutting to achieve optimal results and prevent damage to the tool or workpiece.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the saw's ventilation openings and the blade guard to prevent dust buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Blade Care: Inspect blades before each use for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. Charge the battery fully before long-term storage.
  • General Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners for tightness. Ensure all moving parts operate smoothly.
