This portable device brings classic 16-bit retro gaming to your fingertips with 156 built-in games and a vibrant 2.8-inch TFT color screen. It also supports AV output, allowing you to connect it to a TV for a larger gaming experience. This manual provides essential information for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure you get the most out of your new game console.

2. Safety Information

5. Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The lithium battery is typically pre-installed. If not, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the console and insert the provided lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.
  2. Charging the Console: Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the console and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The indicator light will show charging status. Charge fully before first use.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On/Off: Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the back of the console to the 'ON' position to power on. Slide it to 'OFF' to power off.
  2. Selecting and Playing Games: Once powered on, use the joystick to navigate through the game list. Press the 'A' button to select a game.
  3. In-Game Controls: Use the joystick for movement and the A/B buttons for in-game actions. Press 'START' to pause or resume the game. Press 'RESET' to exit the current game and return to the main menu.
  4. Adjusting Volume: Use the volume control knob/buttons (as indicated in Figure 1) to adjust the sound level to one of the four available settings.
  5. Connecting to a TV:

    To play on a larger screen, connect the provided AV cable to the AV output port on the console and the corresponding AV input ports (usually yellow for video, white/red for audio) on your television. Switch your TV's input source to AV. The game will then display on your TV screen.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the console. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the console in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the console is powered off.
  • Battery Care: If storing for a long time, charge the battery periodically to maintain its health.

8. Troubleshooting

Q: The console does not power on.
A: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position. Check if the battery is charged. Connect the USB charging cable and try again.
Q: No display on the TV when connected.
A: Verify that the AV cable is securely connected to both the console and the TV. Ensure your TV's input source is set to the correct AV channel.
Q: Games are not loading or freezing.
A: Try pressing the 'RESET' button to restart the game or return to the main menu. If the issue persists, power off the console and then power it back on.
Q: No sound or low sound.
A: Adjust the volume control on the console. If connected to a TV, check the TV's volume and mute settings.
