Setup Instructions
- Install Batteries:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of both the indoor receiver and the outdoor transmitter.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries into each unit, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartments securely.
- Select Channel (Transmitter):
- On the back of the outdoor transmitter, use the Channel Selector switch to choose a channel (1, 2, or 3). If using only one transmitter, Channel 1 is recommended.
- Pairing:
- Once batteries are installed, the indoor receiver will automatically attempt to connect with the transmitter.
- If the connection is not established within a few minutes, press and hold the 'SYNC' button on the back of the receiver for 3 seconds. The receiver will start searching for the transmitter.
- Ensure the transmitter is within range and powered on.
- Placement:
- Indoor Receiver: Place the receiver on a flat surface using its foldable stand or mount it on a wall using the hanging hole. Choose a central location for optimal signal reception.
- Outdoor Transmitter: Place the transmitter outdoors in a location that is protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain for the most accurate readings. It can be wall-mounted using the hanging hole. While the sensor is rain-resistant, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions should be avoided if possible.

Operating Instructions
- Reading the Display:
- The large LCD screen displays indoor temperature and humidity (labeled 'IN') and outdoor temperature and humidity (labeled 'OUT' with channel number, e.g., 'CH1').
- Trend arrows next to the temperature and humidity readings indicate whether the levels are rising, falling, or remaining stable.
- Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F):
- Press the '°F/°C' button on the back of the receiver to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius display.
- Viewing MAX/MIN Records:
- Press the 'MAX/MIN' button once to view the highest temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset.
- Press it again to view the lowest temperature and humidity recorded.
- Press a third time to return to current readings.
- Clearing MAX/MIN Records:
- While viewing MAX or MIN records, press and hold the 'CLEAR' button for 3 seconds to reset the recorded values for both temperature and humidity.
- Switching Channels (if multiple sensors):
- If you have multiple outdoor transmitters, press the 'CHANNEL' button on the back of the receiver to cycle through the channels (CH1, CH2, CH3) and view readings from different sensors.
- 24-Hour / All-Time Records:
- Press the 'ALL-TIME/24' button to switch between viewing the MAX/MIN records for the last 24 hours or all-time since the last manual reset.
Care and Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both units when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Cleaning: Clean the units with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the plastic components.
- Water Resistance: The outdoor transmitter is designed to be rain-resistant. However, to prolong its lifespan and ensure accuracy, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to extreme weather conditions like heavy downpours or direct prolonged sunlight.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries from both units to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- No outdoor temperature/humidity reading or '---' displayed:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed in both the receiver and transmitter.
- The transmitter may be out of range. Move it closer to the receiver.
- There might be interference from other electronic devices. Try relocating the units.
- Press and hold the 'SYNC' button on the receiver for 3 seconds to re-establish connection.
- Check if the channel selected on the receiver matches the channel set on the transmitter.
- Inaccurate readings:
- Ensure both units are placed away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or vents that could affect readings.
- The outdoor sensor should be in a shaded, well-ventilated area for accurate ambient temperature.
- Allow sufficient time (at least 30 minutes) for the sensors to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
- Low battery indicator:
- Replace all AAA batteries in the affected unit immediately.
User Tips
- Outdoor Sensor Placement: While the outdoor sensor is rain-resistant, placing it under an overhang or in a sheltered spot can help prolong its life and provide more consistent readings by protecting it from direct sun and heavy precipitation.
- Multiple Sensors: If you need to monitor more than one outdoor location or different rooms, additional transmitters can be purchased separately and easily synchronized with your main receiver.
- Monitoring Trends: Pay attention to the trend arrows. A rising arrow indicates increasing temperature/humidity, a falling arrow indicates decreasing, and a horizontal arrow indicates stable conditions. This helps in proactive environmental management.
- Battery Life: Battery life can vary depending on temperature and usage. Using high-quality alkaline batteries is recommended for optimal performance.
