3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Fan Installation
- Identify desired fan mounting locations in your PC case (e.g., front, top, rear, bottom).
- Secure each Aigo AR12 fan to the case using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the fan is oriented correctly for desired airflow (see Section 4.3 for wind direction).
- The fans feature anti-shock pads on both sides to reduce resonance and noise.

3.2 Wiring Diagram
Follow the wiring diagram carefully to connect the fans and controller:
- Connect each 6-pin fan cable from the AR12 fans to the corresponding 'FAN' ports on the Aigo controller hub. The controller supports up to 10 fans.
- Connect the SATA power cable from your PC's power supply unit (PSU) to the 'POWER IN' port on the controller hub.
- (Optional) For motherboard ARGB synchronization, connect the 5V 3-pin ARGB cable from the controller to a compatible 5V 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard. Do NOT connect to a 12V 4-pin RGB header, as this will damage the LEDs.
- (Optional) If you have additional 5V ARGB LED strips, connect them to the 'LED1' or 'LED2' ports on the controller.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Remote Control Functions
The included IR remote control allows you to manage the fan's RGB lighting effects. Note that the remote primarily controls lighting and does not adjust fan speed directly.

Image: IR Remote Control Layout
- On/Off: These keys are responsible for switching the lights on/off. Fan operation is independent of these buttons.
- RC/MB: Switch between remote control and motherboard (ARGB Sync) control.
- M+/M-: Mode adjustment keys to cycle through different lighting patterns.
- S+/S-: Speed adjustment keys for lighting effects.
- Luminosity Adjustment: Adjust the brightness of the RGB LEDs.
- Seven Color Monochromatic Shortcut Keys: Directly select specific static colors.
- AUTO: Executes all pre-programmed lighting patterns sequentially.
4.2 ARGB Sync with Motherboard
If your motherboard has a 5V 3-pin ARGB header and you have connected the sync cable, you can switch control from the remote to your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion). Use the 'RC/MB' button on the remote to toggle between these control modes.
4.3 Wind Direction Display
The Aigo AR12 fans are designed to suck air in from the front (the side without the bracket and wires) and exhaust air from the back (the side with the bracket and wires). Ensure correct orientation for optimal airflow within your PC case.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Aigo AR12 fans, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean dust from the fan blades and housing using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the PC is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Inspection: Check fan cables for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections are secure.
6. Troubleshooting
- Fans not spinning: Ensure the SATA power cable is securely connected from the PSU to the controller hub. Check that the 6-pin fan cables are properly seated in the controller.
- RGB lights not working: Verify the SATA power connection. If using motherboard sync, ensure the 5V 3-pin ARGB cable is correctly connected to a 5V ARGB header (not 12V RGB) and that the 'RC/MB' button on the remote is set to motherboard control. If using remote control, ensure the remote has power and is pointed at the controller.
- Fan speed not adjustable via remote: The Aigo AR12 remote control primarily manages RGB lighting effects. Fan speed is typically controlled by the controller's internal programming or, if supported, through motherboard software when in ARGB sync mode. Direct fan speed adjustment via the remote is not a feature of this model.
- Intermittent lighting: Check all cable connections, especially the 5V 3-pin ARGB cable to the motherboard or LED strips. Ensure no pins are bent or damaged.

8. User Tips
- ARGB Header Compatibility: Always double-check your motherboard manual to confirm you are connecting the 5V 3-pin ARGB cable to the correct header. Connecting to a 12V 4-pin RGB header will cause damage.
- Controller Capacity: The Aigo controller hub typically supports up to 10 fans. Plan your fan layout accordingly.
- Fan Speed Control: If you require precise fan speed control, consider motherboards with PWM fan headers and ensure your system configuration allows for software-based fan speed management, as the remote primarily controls lighting.
9. Warranty and Support
Aigo products typically come with a warranty period. For the AR12 fans, the warranty for the fan itself is generally 1 year. For the controller and other components, please refer to your purchase documentation or contact the seller for specific warranty details. If you encounter any issues or require technical assistance, please reach out to the official Aigo support channels or your retailer.
