4. Installation
The Zemismart Smart DoorLock is designed for easy replacement and installation, typically taking about 10 minutes with a hex screwdriver. No breaking of the door or changing the door body is required.
4.1. Choosing the Correct Mortise Lock Size
It is crucial to select the correct mortise lock size for your door. Refer to the diagram below to measure your door's thickness and existing lock dimensions (A and B) to determine the appropriate model.

- A30 B30: Recommended for door thickness from 40mm to 55mm.
- A35 B35: Recommended for door thickness from 50mm to 65mm.
- A40 B40: Recommended for door thickness from 60mm to 75mm.
- A45 B45: Recommended for door thickness from 70mm to 85mm.
- A50 B50: Recommended for door thickness from 70mm to 85mm (Circular type).
Important Note: The distance from the lock cylinder to the edge of the door is 21mm. Please confirm this measurement in your installation environment before purchasing.

- Insert the new Zemismart Smart DoorLock cylinder into the mortise.
- Secure the lock cylinder in place.

5. Setup
5.1. Tuya App Setup
- Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life App from your mobile app store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. The app should detect the lock via Bluetooth.
- Follow the prompts to pair the lock with your app.
Note: For remote control and access to unlock records from anywhere, a Tuya Bluetooth Gateway (hub) is required. Without the gateway, app control is limited to Bluetooth range.


5.2. Fingerprint Registration
The lock supports up to 100 fingerprints. Follow the instructions within the Tuya App to register new fingerprints. Typically, this involves placing your finger on the sensor multiple times from different angles until successfully registered.
5.3. IC Card Registration
The lock supports IC cards for unlocking. Use the Tuya App to add new IC cards. This usually involves scanning the card near the lock's card sensing area after initiating the registration process in the app.
6. Operation
The Zemismart Smart DoorLock offers four convenient ways to unlock your door:

- IC Card Unlock: Tap your registered IC card on the card sensing area of the lock.
