4. Setup

4.1. Inserting TF Cards

The RGB20S utilizes a dual TF card system for optimal performance and storage management:

  • System Card (TF1-OS): This slot is for the operating system card. Ensure the system card is properly inserted before powering on the device.
  • Game Card (TF2-GAME): This slot is for your game storage card. You can use a game card ranging from 16GB to 256GB.
  • To insert, gently push the card into the respective slot until it clicks into place. To remove, push it in again until it springs out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the screen lights up and the POWKIDDY logo appears.
  • Power Off (Proper Shutdown): From the main menu, navigate to the "QUIT" option, then select "SHUTDOWN SYSTEM" and confirm. This ensures data integrity.
  • Reset: In case of a system freeze, use the small Reset button located on the side of the console.

5.2. Menu Navigation and Game Selection

The RGB20S runs on an open-source Linux system, typically utilizing EmulationStation for its user interface.

  • Use the D-pad or analog joysticks to navigate through the system menus and game lists.
  • Press the 'A' button (or equivalent action button) to select an option or launch a game.
