Setup Guide
- Install Software: Insert the provided Software DISC into your computer's CD/DVD drive. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the measurement software. This software is compatible with Windows 10/7/8/SP4/XP/VISTA.
- Prepare Microscope: Remove the eyepiece from your microscope's eyepiece tube.
- Attach Digital Eyepiece:
- If your microscope's eyepiece tube diameter is 23.2mm, directly insert the 5MP Digital Eyepiece into the tube.
- If your microscope's eyepiece tube diameter is 30mm, use the provided 30mm adapter. Insert the adapter into the microscope tube, then insert the digital eyepiece into the adapter.
- If your microscope's eyepiece tube diameter is 30.5mm, use the provided 30.5mm adapter. Insert the adapter into the microscope tube, then insert the digital eyepiece into the adapter.

The digital eyepiece has a 23.2mm diameter. 
Included adapters for 30mm and 30.5mm microscope tubes. - Connect to Device: Connect the digital eyepiece to your computer using the provided USB cable. For Android phones, an OTG cable (not included) is required.
- Power On: Ensure your microscope is powered on and the illumination is set appropriately.


Operating Instructions
- Launch Software: Open the installed measurement software on your computer. The live image from the microscope should appear on your screen.
- Adjust Focus: Use the coarse and fine focus knobs on your microscope to bring the specimen into sharp focus. The software may also offer digital focus adjustments.
- Capture Images/Videos: The software provides options for image shooting (JPEG, BMP) and video recording (MP4). Refer to the software's interface for specific buttons and settings.
- Measurement Functions: The software includes various measurement tools. Calibrate the software according to your microscope's magnification for accurate measurements.
- White Balance: Adjust the white balance settings (Auto/Manual) within the software to achieve accurate color representation of your specimen.


Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the digital eyepiece. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
- Storage: Store the digital eyepiece in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use. Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates from the manufacturer's website to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
Troubleshooting
- No Image Display:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the digital eyepiece and your computer/device.
- Verify that the software is correctly installed and running.
- Check if the microscope's illumination is on and properly adjusted.
- Confirm that the digital eyepiece is correctly inserted into the microscope's eyepiece tube.
- Blurry Image:
- Adjust the coarse and fine focus knobs on your microscope.
- Ensure the specimen is properly placed on the microscope stage.
- Clean the lens of the digital eyepiece and the microscope's objective lenses.
- Software Not Recognizing Device:
- Try connecting the digital eyepiece to a different USB port.
- Restart your computer and the software.
- Reinstall the software from the provided DISC or a downloaded version.
- Color Issues:
- Adjust the white balance settings within the software (Auto/Manual).
- Check the microscope's illumination source for any color casts.
