4. Setup Instructions
- Connect Power: Plug the provided 12V3A power adapter into the docking station's power input and then into a wall outlet.
- Connect to Computer (Optional for Online Use): If you intend to use the docking station as an external drive, connect one end of the USB C 3.0 cable to the docking station's USB 3.0 Type-C port and the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
- Insert Hard Drives: Gently slide your 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD into the designated bays (Slot A and Slot B) until they are securely seated. The tool-free design allows for easy insertion.
- Power On: Flip the "ON/OFF" switch on the docking station to the "ON" position. The power indicator light should illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Data Transfer (Online Mode)
Once the docking station is connected to your computer and powered on, the inserted hard drives will appear as external storage devices. You can then drag and drop files, backup data, or access content directly from the drives. The USB 3.0 Type-C interface with UASP ensures fast and efficient data transfer.

5.2. Offline Clone Function
The offline clone function allows you to duplicate a source hard drive (Disk A) to a target hard drive (Disk B) without needing a computer connection. This is useful for system upgrades or creating exact backups.
- Prepare Disks: Ensure the docking station is powered off and disconnected from your computer. Insert the source disk (Disk A) into the "A" slot and the target disk (Disk B) into the "B" slot.
- Connect Power: Connect the 12V3A power adapter to the docking station and a power outlet.
- Initiate Clone: Power on the docking station. Press and hold the "Clone" button for approximately 3 seconds until the 100% LED indicator lights up.
- Confirm Clone: Quickly press the "Clone" button again to start the offline cloning process.
- Monitor Progress: The LED indicators (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) will flash sequentially and then remain solid as each stage of the cloning process is completed. All four LEDs will stay on when the clone is 100% finished.

Important Notes for Offline Cloning:
- The target disk (Disk B) must have equal or greater capacity than the source disk (Disk A).
- All data on the target disk (Disk B) will be overwritten during the cloning process. Ensure you have backed up any important data from Disk B before starting.
- Do not insert or withdraw any HDD/SSD while the cloning process is active.
- Any bad sectors on either drive may prevent the cloning process from completing successfully or cause overheating.
- After cloning, the target drive will be in an "offline" status. You may need to go to "Disk Management" on your computer to bring it "online" and assign a drive letter for it to be accessible.

6. Maintenance
- Automatic Sleep Mode: The docking station is designed to automatically enter Sleep Mode after 30 minutes of no operation. This feature helps protect your hard drives and conserves power.
- Proper Handling: Always ensure hard drives are properly seated in the bays. Avoid forcing drives into slots.
- Cleaning: Keep the docking station clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use, store the docking station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Safe Removal: Always safely eject drives from your computer's operating system before physically removing them from the docking station (in online mode).
7. Troubleshooting
- Q: HDD does not show up under Windows Explorer?
- A: This often happens with new or uninitialized drives. Go to "Disk Management" in Windows, right-click the 'Unallocated' or 'Free space' partition for the disk, and assign a drive letter or initialize the disk if it's new.
- Q: Indicator stops flashing during offline clone period?
- A: This could indicate an issue with one of the drives or the cloning process. Possible reasons include:
- Partial damage to the HDD/SSD.
- A virus or corrupted data on the source disk.
- A malfunction in the cloning process.
8. User Tips
- Tool-Free Convenience: The tool-free design makes swapping drives incredibly easy. Take advantage of this for quick data access or backups.
- Capacity Matching for Cloning: When performing an offline clone, always ensure your target disk (Disk B) has a capacity equal to or greater than your source disk (Disk A) to avoid cloning failures.
- Data Backup is Crucial: Before initiating any cloning operation, especially offline cloning, always back up critical data from both the source and target drives. The target drive's data will be erased.
- Post-Clone Drive Visibility: If a newly cloned drive isn't visible after the process, remember to check "Disk Management" on your computer. It might be offline and require manual activation and drive letter assignment.
