8.3. Cleaning

9. Troubleshooting

  • Lock says "Enter the second code" when using an IC card: This usually means the IC card is not properly registered or is from a different manufacturer/system. Ensure you register the IC cards provided with the lock or compatible ones.
  • Lock is not responding: Check the battery level. If batteries are low or dead, replace them or use the USB emergency power supply.
  • Cannot connect to WiFi: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4Ghz. The lock does not support 5Ghz networks. Check your router settings and ensure the lock is within WiFi range.
  • Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if the issue persists.
  • Password not working: Double-check the entered password. Ensure you are not in administrator mode if trying to unlock as a regular user. Try using the scramble pin code feature.
  • Lock sound is too loud/quiet: The lock features a silent mode. Refer to the setup instructions or app settings to adjust or disable the lock sound.
  • Is the lock water resistant? The RAYKUBE H4 is rated as 'No Waterproof'. Avoid exposing it to direct water or extreme moisture.

10. User Tips

  • Handle Inversion: The handle direction is reversible, allowing for flexible installation on various door types.
  • Alexa Compatibility: The Tuya WiFi version of the H4 lock is compatible with Amazon Alexa, allowing for voice control integration.
  • Remote Access: For the Tuya WiFi version, you can unlock the door remotely via the internet using the Tuya/Smart Life app, without needing a separate Bluetooth connection or gateway.
  • Battery Life: Battery life can vary based on usage. It is recommended to use high-quality alkaline batteries and replace them when the low battery warning appears to avoid being locked out.
  • Mortise Lock Selection: If you are unsure about which mortise lock size to choose, it is best to contact the seller with detailed measurements of your door and existing lock for guidance.
