- Press the button again to release the data hold and resume real-time measurement.
4.5 MAX/MIN Value Tracking
- Press the MAX/MIN button to cycle through maximum, minimum, and current temperature readings.
- The 'MAX' or 'MIN' indicator will appear on the screen to denote the displayed value.
4.6 Alarm Function
- The device has default high (1300℃) and low (-200℃) alarm limits.
- When the measured temperature exceeds these limits, a sound and light alarm will activate.
4.7 Data Storage
- The TA612A/B models can store up to 9999 groups of thermocouple channel temperature values.
- The TA612C model can store up to 5000 groups of thermocouple channel temperature values.
- Note: Ambient temperature data storage is not supported.

4.8 Data Upload and Real-time Measurement (TA612C Only)
- The TA612C model is equipped with a USB interface for data upload and real-time measurement.
- Connect the device to a computer using the provided USB cable.
- Use the dedicated software (if provided by the manufacturer) to access stored data and view real-time measurements on your computer.

4.9 Probe Error Range Compensation (ADJ)
- The device supports -9~9℃ probe error range compensation.
- Long press the ADJ > 2s TYPE button to access the electronic compensation settings for K/J type probes. Refer to the full manual for detailed calibration procedures.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the probe inputs are free from dust and debris.
5.2 Battery Replacement
- Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1.
5.3 Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Use the provided storage bag to protect the thermometer and probes.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display/Device Not Turning On: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure probes are correctly inserted and are the appropriate K/J type. Check for probe damage. Consider performing ADJ compensation if needed.
- Alarm Constantly Triggering: Verify the temperature being measured is within the expected range. The default high limit is 1300℃ and low limit is -200℃.
- Data Storage Issues: Ensure the device has sufficient memory. For TA612C, ensure proper USB connection and software operation for data upload.
