4. Controls and Interfaces

4.1 Front Panel

  • Digital Display Screen: Shows current input, volume level, and other status information.
  • Play / Pause Button: Controls media playback for USB input.
  • Previous Song Button: Skips to the previous track for USB input.
  • Next Song Button: Skips to the next track for USB input.
  • Play Mode Switch: Cycles through different playback modes (e.g., repeat all, repeat one).
  • Input Select Button: Cycles through available audio inputs (BT, AUX, OPT, COAX, USB, PC).
  • LED Sound Level Meter: RGB LED indicators that dynamically display audio volume levels.
  • Power Button / Volume Knob: Press to power on/off. Rotate to adjust volume.
  • 3.5mm Headphone Output: Connect headphones for private listening.
  • USB Input: Connect a USB drive (U-disk) for music playback or connect to a PC for PC-USB audio.

  • RCA Input (RCA A, RCA L): Connect analog audio sources (e.g., CD player, TV) using RCA cables.
  • Coaxial Input (COAX): Connect digital audio sources using a coaxial cable.
  • Optical Input (OPT): Connect digital audio sources using an optical (Toslink) cable.
  • Speaker Output (R, L): Connect passive speakers using banana plugs or bare wire. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  • DC IN 9V-20V: Power input interface. Connect the provided DC power adapter here.

5. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Douk Audio M100 amplifier:

  1. Connect Speakers: Connect your passive speakers to the "SPEAKER" output terminals on the rear panel. Ensure the positive (+) terminal of the amplifier connects to the positive terminal of the speaker, and the negative (-) terminal connects to the negative terminal.
  2. Connect Audio Input Source:
    • Bluetooth: Power on the M100, select "BT" input. Enable Bluetooth on your device (phone, tablet) and pair with "Douk Audio M100".
    • PC-USB: Connect the M100's front USB port to your computer using a USB cable. Select "PC" input. Your computer should recognize the M100 as an audio device.
    • U-disk: Insert a USB flash drive (formatted to FAT32, containing MP3/WMA/WAV/APE/FLAC files) into the front USB port. Select "USB" input.
    • RCA: Connect your analog audio source (e.g., CD player, projector) to the "RCA" input jacks on the rear panel using RCA cables. Select "AUX" input.
    • Coaxial: Connect your digital audio source (e.g., TV, media player) to the "COAX" input on the rear panel using a coaxial cable. Select "COAX" input.
    • Optical: Connect your digital audio source (e.g., TV, set-top box) to the "OPT" input on the rear panel using an optical cable. Select "OPT" input.
  3. Connect Optional Output Devices (if applicable):
    • Headphones: Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm headphone output on the front panel.
    • External Amplifier/Subwoofer/Active Speakers: Connect the 3.5mm AUX output (Line Out) on the front panel to the input of your external audio device.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the DC 9-20V power adapter to the "DC IN" port on the rear panel, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  5. Power On: Press the Power Button/Volume Knob on the front panel to turn on the amplifier.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Press the Power Button/Volume Knob to toggle the amplifier on or off.
  2. Select Input: Press the "Input Select" button repeatedly to cycle through the available audio inputs (BT, AUX, OPT, COAX, USB, PC). The selected input will be shown on the digital display screen.
  3. Adjust Volume: Rotate the Power Button/Volume Knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume. The LED sound level meters will visually indicate the volume level.
  4. USB Playback (U-disk):
    • Once a U-disk is inserted and "USB" input is selected, the amplifier will automatically start playing supported audio files.
    • Use the "Play / Pause", "Previous Song", and "Next Song" buttons to control playback.
    • The "Play Mode Switch" can be used to change playback modes (e.g., repeat track, repeat all).
  5. Bluetooth Pairing:
    • Select "BT" input. The display will show "BLUE" and the Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
    • On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Douk Audio M100" to pair.
    • Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will remain solid, and you can stream audio wirelessly.
