6. Troubleshooting
- Slow WiFi Speed: Wireless speeds (2.4G usually 10-30 Mbps, 5G usually 100-300 Mbps) can vary. Ensure your WiFi router is placed near the TV Box for optimal signal strength. Note that TV box WiFi chip performance may differ from smartphones or other devices due to cost and design.
- Less Available Memory Than Stated: The operating system and pre-installed applications occupy a portion of the internal storage (eMMC) and RAM, resulting in less available memory for user applications and data than the total advertised capacity.
- Application Compatibility Issues: Not all applications are guaranteed to install or function correctly on every Android TV Box, even those with Google certification. Compatibility depends on the TV box's firmware and the specific version of the application provided by its developer.
7. User Tips
- For the best WiFi performance, position your wireless router as close as possible to the TV Box.
- Be aware that the actual usable storage and RAM will be less than the advertised specifications due to the operating system and pre-installed software.
- If an application does not install or run as expected, check for alternative versions or contact the app developer for compatibility information with Android TV Box devices.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Ventilation: Ensure the TV Box is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not cover ventilation openings.
- Temperature and Humidity: Operate and store the device within the specified temperature (0~60℃ operation, -10~60℃ storage) and humidity (5%-90% non-condensing) ranges.
- Power Off Safely: Always power off the device correctly before unplugging it or during extended periods of non-use.
9. Warranty and Support
The UGOOS X5M PRO TV Box comes with a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for defective items. This warranty does not cover items damaged or misused after receipt.
If you encounter any problems with the product, delivery, or service, please contact the seller directly. Provide a detailed description of the issue, and they will respond within 24 hours to assist you. Please do not open a dispute directly without first contacting support.
