Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and to maximize your viewing experience.

Button Functions:
- Power Button (Red Circle): Turns the TV on or off.
- Numeric Keypad (0-9): For direct channel selection.
- TV/Input Button: Switches between different input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
- Volume Up/Down (V+/V-): Adjusts the TV volume.
- Channel Up/Down (P+/P-): Changes TV channels.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: Always use new batteries and replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
4.2 Initial Use
This GIEC remote control uses infrared (IR) technology and does not require any complex pairing or setup process. Once batteries are installed, it should function directly with compatible QILIVE LED TVs. Simply point the remote control towards the TV's IR receiver and press the desired button.
5. Operating Instructions
To operate your QILIVE LED TV with this remote control, ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote's IR emitter (Figure 3.3) and the TV's IR receiver.
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button once.
- Changing Channels: Use the P+ or P- buttons to cycle through channels, or use the Numeric Keypad for direct channel entry.
- Adjusting Volume: Press V+ to increase volume and V- to decrease volume.
- Accessing Menus: Press the MENU button to open the TV's main menu. Use the Navigation Arrows to move, and OK to select. Press BACK to go back or EXIT to leave the menu.
- Selecting Input Source: Press the TV/Input button to cycle through available input sources (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV).
- Special Functions: The colored buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue) and media control buttons (Play, Pause, etc.) will activate specific features depending on the TV model and the current application or content.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the remote control dry. Avoid exposing it to water or high humidity.
- Do not drop or subject the remote control to strong impacts.
- Clean the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
