Maintenance

Cleaning Your Tablet

To clean your tablet, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the screen or internal components.

Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the tablet to extreme temperatures (hot or cold). It is recommended to keep the battery charge between 20% and 80% for optimal longevity. Avoid frequently letting the battery fully discharge to 0% or remain at 100% for extended periods.

Software Updates

Regularly check for and install system updates. These updates often include performance improvements, new features, and important security patches that keep your tablet running smoothly and securely.

Troubleshooting

Tablet Not Powering On

  • Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on.
  • Press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds to perform a forced restart.

Screen Flickering or Unresponsive

  • Restart the tablet.
  • If the issue persists, check for available software updates.
  • As a last resort, consider a factory reset (Warning: This will erase all data on your tablet. Back up important files first.).

Network Connectivity Issues

  • Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi and ensure Wi-Fi is enabled and you are connected to the correct network. Try forgetting the network and reconnecting.
  • 4G LTE: Ensure your SIM card is properly inserted and activated. Check your mobile data settings in Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network.

Slow Performance

  • Close unnecessary background applications.
  • Clear the cache of frequently used apps (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage & cache > Clear cache).
  • Check available storage space (Settings > Storage). Delete unnecessary files or move them to an SD card.

Apps Not Working Correctly

  • Ensure the app is updated to its latest version from the Google Play Store.
  • Clear the app's data and cache (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage & cache > Clear storage / Clear cache).
  • If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the app.
