3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Transmitter Installation
The doorbell transmitter can be installed using two methods, depending on your wall surface:
- For clean, flat, smooth walls: Simply remove the protective tape from the back of the transmitter and stick it directly to the desired location.
- For dusty or uneven walls:
- Remove the protective tape from the transmitter.
- Fix the back plate to the wall using the provided screws.
- Remove the tape from the transmitter.
- Stick the doorbell transmitter onto the fixed back plate.
Note: Do not install the transmitter on a metal door, as this will seriously affect the wireless signal and performance.

3.2 Receiver Setup
The receiver is plug-and-play. Simply plug it into a standard AC 110-240V power outlet. The transmitter and receiver are matched automatically.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Self-Powered Operation
The Linptech Wireless Doorbell features a kinetic energy generator. When the doorbell button is pressed, it converts kinetic energy into electrical energy, eliminating the need for batteries. This design is both safe and environmentally friendly.

4.2 Volume and Ringtone Adjustment
The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels and 36 music options. You can customize the sound to your preference.

4.3 Smart Home Integration (Mijia & Tuya App)
The doorbell is compatible with Mijia and Tuya smart home platforms. For the "Wifi Mi Home" version, you need to change the region to Mainland China in the Mijia App to connect. It can be controlled by the Mijia APP or Xiaoai, and connected with other Mijia smart devices.

4.4 Alexa Integration

Steps for Alexa Integration:
- Open the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" APP.
- Navigate to "Me" and select "Alexa" in the third-party voice service section.
- Click "LINK" to link your Tuya/Smart Life account with your Amazon Alexa account.
- Under normal circumstances, devices in the Tuya APP are automatically added to "All Devices" in the Alexa APP. Alternatively, you can voice control Alexa to discover new devices.
- To set up a custom routine (e.g., Alexa announces when the doorbell is pressed):
- In the Alexa APP, click "More" then "Routines".
- Create a new routine.
- For "When this happens", select "Smart Home", then choose your Linptech wireless doorbell device, and click "Save".
- For "Add action", select "Sounds", then "Bells and buzzers", and choose "Doorbell 3" (or another sound). More ringtones can be added to Alexa on demand.
- Add another action, select "Alexa Says", then "Customized". Type your desired response, e.g., "James, Someone is knocking the door".
- Finally, select the ringing device, such as "hubin's Echo", then "Save".
4.5 Power-off Memory Function
The doorbell features intelligent memory storage, ensuring that your previously selected ringtone is saved even after a power outage.

4.6 Multiple Transmitters/Receivers
The Linptech Wireless Doorbell supports free combination, allowing you to pair one transmitter with multiple receivers, or multiple transmitters with one receiver. This is ideal for larger homes or multiple entry points.

You can also assign different ringtones for different doors, allowing you to differentiate between front and rear door presses. Up to 36 ringtones can be individually assigned to one transmitter.

- Poor wireless signal: Avoid installing the transmitter on metal surfaces, as this can interfere with the signal. Ensure the distance between the transmitter and receiver is within the specified 50m outdoor range. Walls and other obstructions can reduce this range.
- Mijia App connection issues: For the "Wifi Mi Home" version, verify that the region setting in your Mijia App is set to "Mainland China" before attempting to connect.
