  • Storage: When not in use, store the engraver in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Engraving is blurry or weak:
    • Check the focus of the laser. Ensure the laser dot is sharp and small on the material surface.
    • Verify the material is suitable for the selected power settings.
    • Clean the laser lens for any obstructions or dust.
  • Machine does not connect via Bluetooth/USB:
    • Ensure the machine is powered on.
    • For Bluetooth, check if Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the app has necessary permissions.
    • For USB, try a different USB port or cable. Reinstall the drivers if necessary.
  • Engraving on round objects (e.g., cups, thermos): The DJ6 can engrave on round objects. Use the provided heightening columns to adjust the machine's height to match the object's curvature and ensure the laser is focused correctly on the engraving surface.
  • Engraving on stainless steel/metal: The DJ6 can engrave on painted metal. For bare stainless steel or other metals, it is generally used for marking rather than deep engraving. Some users report success with specific settings or by applying a marking spray.
  • Software compatibility with Windows 11: The software is compatible with Windows 7-10, MAC, iOS, and Android. It is generally compatible with Windows 11, but ensure you have the latest software version from the provided USB drive or official website.
