4. Setup and Installation

Initial Setup

1. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC-in port on the rear of the Mini PC and then into a power outlet.
2. Connect Display: Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), or Type-C video output ports using the provided HD cables or compatible cables.
3. Connect Peripherals: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices to the available USB ports.
4. Network Connection: For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port. For wireless, ensure your Wi-Fi network is available.

VESA Mount Installation

The Mini PC can be mounted to the back of a compatible monitor using the included VESA bracket to save desk space.

1. Fix the VESA bracket to the Mini PC with screws.
2. Fix the bracket to the back of your display with screws.

5. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press the power button once.
• To Power Off: From Windows, select 'Shut down'. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for 5-7 seconds for a forced shutdown (use only when necessary).

Triple Display Setup

The Beelink SER5/SER5 Max supports triple display output, allowing you to connect up to three 4K monitors simultaneously via HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C ports. This enhances multitasking and productivity.

8. Maintenance

General Care

Storage Upgrade (SER5 5500U)

The SER5 5500U model supports adding a 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD (7mm thickness) in addition to the M.2 NVMe SSD. To install:

1. Power off the Mini PC and disconnect all cables.
2. Carefully open the bottom panel of the device.
3. Locate the 2.5-inch drive bay and connect the SATA data and power cables.
4. Secure the drive with screws.
5. Close the bottom panel and reconnect cables.

Storage Upgrade (SER5 Max 6800U/6800H)

The SER5 Max models feature dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, allowing for significant storage expansion up to 8TB (2x 4TB). To install/upgrade M.2 SSDs:

1. Power off the Mini PC and disconnect all cables.
2. Carefully open the bottom panel of the device.
3. Locate the M.2 slots. Insert the M.2 SSD into an available slot and secure it with the retaining screw.
4. Close the bottom panel and reconnect cables.

• Cannot enter BIOS: If you are having trouble entering the BIOS, ensure you are pressing the correct key (usually DEL or F2) repeatedly immediately after powering on the device. If issues persist, contact support.
• Overheating concerns: The Mini PC features an efficient cooling system. If you experience unusual heat or performance throttling, ensure the ventilation holes are clear and the device is in a well-ventilated area. Monitor CPU temperatures using system tools.
• Gaming performance: The integrated AMD Radeon Graphics are suitable for many games, especially older titles or less graphically demanding modern games. For optimal performance, ensure your drivers are up to date and adjust in-game settings. This Mini PC does not support adding a dedicated PCIe graphics card.
• Auto Power On: If you wish to enable 'Auto Power On' functionality, please contact Beelink technical support with the barcode located at the bottom of your machine. They will provide the necessary tutorial file.
• Windows 11 Pre-installed: All models come with Windows 11 pre-installed.

• BIOS Access: To access the BIOS/UEFI settings, press the 'DEL' or 'F2' key repeatedly during startup.
