4. Setup

Follow these steps for proper installation and connection of your Gemini 3018 unit:

  1. Mounting the Unit: Securely mount the Gemini 3018 main unit within your RC model. If operating in a strong vibration environment, it is crucial to install shock-absorbing rubber fittings to protect the unit.
  2. Battery Connection: Connect your dual 2S LiPo batteries to the BATT 1 and BATT 2 ports on the Gemini 3018. Ensure correct polarity. Use MPX adapter cables if necessary.
  3. Receiver Connection: Connect your primary and secondary receivers to the SERIAL RX 1 and SERIAL RX 2 ports, respectively. The Gemini 3018 supports dual receiver input for redundancy.
  4. FSS-5 Switch Installation: Install the FSS-5 electronic switch in an accessible location on your model. Connect the switch cable to the designated 'SWITCH' port on the Gemini 3018.
  5. Servo Connections: Connect your servos to the 18 PWM output channels as required by your model's configuration.
  6. HPB Output Connections: If using HPB-compatible devices, connect them to the HPB output ports.
  7. S.HUB Mini (Deluxe Version): If you have the Deluxe version, connect the S.HUB Mini units as needed for additional functionality or servo connections. These can be connected to S.BUS1/S.BUS2 servo ports or used with the Dualsky S.HUB MINI ecosystem.

  3. Fail Safe Function: The FSS-5 switch incorporates a Fail Safe function. In the event of damage or disconnection of the switch, the main body of the Gemini 3018 will not lose power, ensuring continued operation of your model.

6. Maintenance
