This manual provides instructions for the AWO RC-43140 replacement remote control, designed for various Hitachi Smart HDTV TV models. This remote offers direct functionality without complex setup for compatible televisions.

2. Setup

1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 3). Insert new batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). This product does not include batteries, please purchase separately.
2. Initial Use: Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use with compatible Hitachi Smart HDTV TVs. No pairing or programming is typically required for this replacement remote.

3. Operating Instructions

To operate your TV using the RC-43140 remote control:

1. Point and Operate: Always point the remote control directly towards the signal receiving window (IR sensor) of your Hitachi TV for optimal operation.
2. Power On/Off: Press the Power button (usually red, at the top) to turn the TV on or off.
3. Channel Selection: Use the number pad (0-9) to directly enter channel numbers. Use the CH+/- buttons to cycle through channels.
