5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Ensure the laser level is turned off.
- Locate the battery compartment on the side of the device.
- Insert the 3.7V / 5200mAh Li-ion battery pack, ensuring correct polarity.
- To charge, connect the provided Type-C power cord to the charging port on the battery pack and a suitable USB power source. The battery can be charged while installed in the device or separately.
- Monitor the 4 battery indicators on the Li-ion battery pack to check the current battery level and charging status.

5.2. Mounting the Laser Level
The Huepar L011G offers flexible mounting options:
- Tripod Mounting: Use the 1/4" female thread on the bottom of the laser level to attach it to a standard tripod.
- Magnetic Bracket: The included magnetic bracket features two strong magnets for attachment to metal surfaces. It also allows for 360° rotation of the laser level. The bracket has 1/4"-20 and 5/8"-11 mounting threads for additional versatility with tripods or laser mounting poles.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
Press the Power Button to turn the laser level on or off.
6.2. Self-leveling Mode
- Slide the Pendulum / Transit Lock to the unlocked position.
- The self-leveling mode is now enabled. The laser level will automatically level itself within a ±3° range.
- If the device is placed on a surface that is out of the ±3° self-leveling range, the laser beams will blink rapidly, and the device will emit a beep to indicate it cannot self-level. Adjust the device's position until it is within range.

6.3. Manual Mode (Tilt Mode)
- Slide the Pendulum / Transit Lock to the locked position.
- The laser level is now in manual mode, allowing you to project laser lines at any desired angle.
- In manual mode, the laser beams will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind you that it is not self-leveling.

6.4. Line Switching
Short press the operation button (often the same as the Power Button or a dedicated button) to cycle through the available laser line combinations:
- Horizontal line only
- Vertical line only
- Both horizontal and vertical lines (cross lines)

6.5. Pulse Mode
- After powering on the device, short press the Pulse Mode Button on the keypad to enable the pulse mode function. The Pulse Mode Indicator will light up.
- In pulse mode, the laser beams will appear dimmer to the naked eye but are optimized for use with a Huepar Line Laser Detector (e.g., LR-6RG / LR-5RG / LR-8RG).
- Pulse mode extends the working range up to 165 feet (50m) in brighter working conditions when used with a compatible Huepar Laser Detector.
- Ensure pulse mode is active when using a receiver for optimal detection.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the laser window clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the laser level in its portable carrying bag to protect it from dust, moisture, and impacts. Ensure the pendulum is locked before storage or transport.
- Durability: The device has an IP54 rating, making it dust-proof and waterproof, suitable for various working conditions.

8. Troubleshooting
- Laser beams are blinking rapidly and beeping: This indicates the device is in self-leveling mode but is positioned outside its ±3° leveling range. Adjust the device's position until it is within the acceptable range.
- Laser beams are blinking every 3-5 seconds: This is normal behavior for manual (tilt) mode. It serves as a reminder that the pendulum is locked, and the device is not self-leveling.
- Laser beams appear dim in pulse mode: This is normal. Pulse mode optimizes the laser for detection by a compatible Huepar Line Laser Detector, making it appear dimmer to the naked eye.
- Device does not power on: Check if the battery is properly installed and fully charged. Recharge the battery if necessary.
- Cannot switch between lines: Ensure the device is powered on and try pressing the operation button firmly.
9. User Tips
- Conserving Battery: To extend battery life, use only the necessary laser lines for your task. The device allows you to switch between horizontal, vertical, or both.
- Angled Applications: For projects requiring angled lines (e.g., installing handrails), always use the manual mode by locking the pendulum. Remember the laser will blink to indicate it's not self-leveling.
- Outdoor Use: For outdoor or bright indoor conditions, activate pulse mode and use a compatible Huepar laser receiver to extend the working distance and improve visibility.
10. Safety Information
WARNING: Avoid direct exposure of the laser beam to the eyes. This product uses a Class 2 laser (<1mW power output, 505-520nm wavelength). Direct eye exposure can cause temporary or permanent eye injury.
- Do not stare directly into the laser beam.
- Do not intentionally direct the laser beam at people or animals.
- Do not use optical instruments (e.g., binoculars, telescopes) to view the laser beam.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the laser level. Unauthorized modifications can result in hazardous laser radiation exposure and will void the warranty.
- Use the device only for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
