8. Troubleshooting

  • Laser beams are blinking rapidly and beeping: This indicates the device is in self-leveling mode but is positioned outside its ±3° leveling range. Adjust the device's position until it is within the acceptable range.
  • Laser beams are blinking every 3-5 seconds: This is normal behavior for manual (tilt) mode. It serves as a reminder that the pendulum is locked, and the device is not self-leveling.
  • Laser beams appear dim in pulse mode: This is normal. Pulse mode optimizes the laser for detection by a compatible Huepar Line Laser Detector, making it appear dimmer to the naked eye.
  • Device does not power on: Check if the battery is properly installed and fully charged. Recharge the battery if necessary.
  • Cannot switch between lines: Ensure the device is powered on and try pressing the operation button firmly.

9. User Tips

  • Conserving Battery: To extend battery life, use only the necessary laser lines for your task. The device allows you to switch between horizontal, vertical, or both.
  • Angled Applications: For projects requiring angled lines (e.g., installing handrails), always use the manual mode by locking the pendulum. Remember the laser will blink to indicate it's not self-leveling.
  • Outdoor Use: For outdoor or bright indoor conditions, activate pulse mode and use a compatible Huepar laser receiver to extend the working distance and improve visibility.

10. Safety Information

WARNING: Avoid direct exposure of the laser beam to the eyes. This product uses a Class 2 laser (<1mW power output, 505-520nm wavelength). Direct eye exposure can cause temporary or permanent eye injury.

  • Do not stare directly into the laser beam.
  • Do not intentionally direct the laser beam at people or animals.
  • Do not use optical instruments (e.g., binoculars, telescopes) to view the laser beam.
  • Keep the device out of reach of children.
  • Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the laser level. Unauthorized modifications can result in hazardous laser radiation exposure and will void the warranty.
  • Use the device only for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
