This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ICSee Outdoor Wireless IP Camera. Please read this manual carefully before using the product to ensure proper setup and functionality. This camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor surveillance, offering high-definition video, two-way audio, and smart detection features.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Camera Overview

4.2 App Download and Installation (Mobile)

  1. Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code below to download the CSee App. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is available.
  2. Manual Download: Alternatively, download the CSee App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

4.3 Power Connection

Connect the DC 12V power adapter (not included) to the camera's power input port. Once powered on, you should hear a voice guidance indicating the camera is ready for configuration.

4.4 Adding Device to CSee App

  1. Open the CSee App. Register and log in (temporary login or registration-free options may be available).
  2. Follow the in-app guidance to add your device. Typically, this involves selecting "Add My Camera (recommended)" or "Add My Camera (AP mode)".
  3. If the device is not in AP mode, long-press the RESET button on the back of the device to restore factory settings. You will hear "Reset Success".
  4. Input your Wi-Fi password when prompted to connect the camera to your network.

4.5 Network Connection Methods

  • Wireless Transmission (Wi-Fi): The camera connects to your wireless router via 2.4G Wi-Fi. Ensure the camera is within range of your router for a stable connection.
  • Wired Transmission (Ethernet): Connect the camera to your router using an Ethernet cable via the RJ45 port for a more stable and reliable connection.

4.6 CMS Software for Computer

For computer monitoring, you can use the CMS software. The installation and connection process is detailed in the following diagram:

5. Operation

5.1 Mobile Monitoring

Once connected, use the iCSee app on your smartphone (Android or iOS) to view live feeds, access recorded footage, and control camera settings remotely.

5.2 Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker. Through the iCSee app, you can listen to the camera's surroundings and speak through the camera to communicate with people on the other end.

5.3 Night Vision

The camera supports both day and night vision modes. Night vision automatically activates in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white images. You can also manually adjust night vision settings via the app.

5.4 Storage Options

  • TF Card Storage: The camera supports a Micro-SD card (TF card) up to 128GB for local storage of recordings. (TF card not included).
  • Cloud Storage: Cloud storage services are available for more secure data backup. (Subscription may be required).

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the iCSee app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security.
  • Environmental Protection: Although the camera is waterproof (IP66), avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the device. Ensure proper installation to prevent water accumulation around connections.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Camera Reset

If you experience issues such as connectivity problems or incorrect settings, you can reset the camera to its factory defaults:

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
  2. Locate the reset button (refer to Figure 2).
  3. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 60 seconds until you hear a voice prompt saying "Reset Success".
  4. The camera will restart, and you will need to reconfigure it through the iCSee app.

7.2 Common Issues

  • No Power: Ensure the DC 12V power adapter is correctly connected and functioning.
  • No Wi-Fi Connection: Verify the Wi-Fi password, ensure the camera is within router range, and check that the router is operating on 2.4GHz. Try resetting the camera and re-adding it.
  • Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Check your network speed. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view.
  • No Audio: Check microphone and speaker settings in the iCSee app. Ensure volume is not muted.
  • Recording Issues: Verify that a TF card is inserted correctly and has sufficient space, or check your cloud storage subscription status.

8. User Tips

  • For optimal outdoor performance, mount the camera in a location that provides a clear view and is protected from direct, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions, even though it is waterproof.
  • Consider using a wired Ethernet connection for locations where Wi-Fi signal strength might be inconsistent.
  • Regularly check recorded footage and app notifications to stay informed about your surveillance area.
