1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the HP 2111S Multimedia Speaker System. This 2.1 wired speaker system is designed to provide enhanced audio for your desktop computer, laptop, and other compatible devices. Featuring a subwoofer and two satellite speakers, it delivers stereo sound with extra bass for an immersive audio experience. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your speaker system.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the speakers to water or moisture.

4. Product Overview

The HP 2111S speaker system consists of a central subwoofer unit and two compact satellite speakers. The subwoofer houses the main controls and provides deep bass, while the satellite speakers deliver clear stereo sound.

Main Unit (Subwoofer)

  • Volume Knob: Located on the front panel, this knob controls the master volume and also serves as the power ON/OFF switch.

Satellite Speakers

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your HP 2111S speaker system:

  1. Placement: Place the subwoofer unit on a stable surface, ideally on the floor or desk, to maximize bass response. Position the two satellite speakers on either side of your monitor or listening area for optimal stereo separation.
  2. Connect Satellite Speakers: The satellite speakers are pre-connected to the subwoofer unit. Ensure these connections are secure.
  3. Connect Audio Input: Plug the 3.5mm audio jack from the subwoofer unit into the audio output port (headphone jack) of your computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet, or other audio source.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the USB power cable from the subwoofer unit into an available USB port on your computer, a USB wall adapter (DC-5V/1A), or a power bank.
  5. Power On: Rotate the volume knob on the front of the subwoofer unit clockwise until you hear a click and the indicator light illuminates.

6. Operating Instructions

Once set up, operating your HP 2111S speaker system is straightforward:

  • Power ON/OFF: Rotate the volume knob clockwise to turn the speakers ON. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn them OFF.
  • Volume Adjustment: Rotate the volume knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
  • Audio Playback: Start playing audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the HP 2111S speaker system.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker surfaces. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speakers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and dust.
  • Cable Care: Avoid bending or crimping the cables excessively to prevent damage.

8. Troubleshooting
