Safety Precautions
- Always operate the soldering station in a well-ventilated area.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and heat-resistant gloves.
- Ensure the power supply matches the voltage requirements of the device (110V or 220V).
- Do not touch the hot air gun nozzle or soldering iron tip when in use or immediately after use, as they reach very high temperatures.
- Place the hot air gun and soldering iron in their respective holders when not in active use.
- Keep the workstation clean and free of flammable materials.
- Unplug the device from the power outlet when not in use or before performing any maintenance.
Product Overview

The SUGON 202 integrates a hot air gun and an electric soldering iron into a single unit. Key components and features include:
- Hot Air Gun: Used for desoldering surface-mount components, heat shrinking, and other applications requiring controlled hot air.
- Electric Soldering Iron: For precise soldering tasks.
- LED Display: Shows real-time temperature and air volume settings for both tools.
- Control Buttons: Dedicated buttons for adjusting temperature and air volume for each tool.
- Storage Channels (CH1, CH2, CH3): Three programmable channels for both the hot air gun and soldering iron to store frequently used temperature and air volume settings.
- Magnetic Induction Sleep Function: Automatically puts the hot air gun and soldering iron into sleep mode when placed in their respective holders, extending tip life and saving energy.
- Temperature Calibration Function: Allows for fine-tuning temperature accuracy.
- °C/°F Conversion: Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
- Integrated Air Outlet: The hot air gun handle features an integrated design for direct and spiral wind, equipped with a high-power fan for large and soft air volume.
- Interchangeable Nozzles: Different types of nozzles (e.g., cyclone and straight air) can be used to achieve various airflow patterns.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are present and undamaged.
- Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Connect Hot Air Gun: Connect the hot air gun handle to the designated port on the main unit. Place the hot air gun in its holder.
- Connect Soldering Iron: Connect the electric soldering iron to its designated port. Place the soldering iron in its stand.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the main unit and then to a grounded power outlet matching the device's voltage (110V or 220V).
- Nozzle Installation (Hot Air Gun): Select the appropriate nozzle for your task. The air outlet of the handle supports both direct and spiral wind. Different nozzles can be used for direct and cyclone airflow.

Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Power On/Off: Use the main power switch on the front panel to turn the unit on or off.
- Quick Operation Guide: A quick operation guide is available on the top of the machine for easy reference.
- Temperature Unit Conversion: Press the dedicated button (often labeled °C/°F) to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display modes.
- Temperature Calibration: The unit features a temperature calibration function to ensure accuracy. Refer to the quick operation guide on the machine's top for specific steps.
Hot Air Gun Operation
- Turn On: Flip the "Hot Air Gun" switch on the front panel.
- Adjust Temperature: Use the dedicated temperature setting buttons (up/down arrows) for the hot air gun to set the desired temperature. The LED display will show the set temperature and actual temperature.
- Adjust Air Volume: Use the dedicated air volume setting buttons (up/down arrows) for the hot air gun to set the desired airflow. The LED display will show the air volume.
- Storage Channels: The hot air gun has 3 working storage channels (CH1, CH2, CH3).
- To Read Stored Settings: Short press the respective channel button (CH1, CH2, or CH3) for approximately one second.
- To Store Current Settings: Long press the respective channel button (CH1, CH2, or CH3) for approximately three seconds.
- Magnetic Induction Sleep Function: When the hot air gun is placed back into its holder, it will automatically enter sleep mode (SLP) to conserve energy and prolong the heating element's lifespan. It will resume operation when lifted.
Electric Soldering Iron Operation
- Turn On: Flip the "Welding Table" (Soldering Iron) switch on the front panel.
- Adjust Temperature: Use the dedicated temperature setting buttons (up/down arrows) for the soldering iron to set the desired temperature. The LED display will show the set temperature and actual temperature.
- Storage Channels: The soldering iron has 3 working storage channels (CH1, CH2, CH3).
- To Read Stored Settings: Short press the respective channel button (CH1, CH2, or CH3) for approximately one second.
- To Store Current Settings: Long press the respective channel button (CH1, CH2, or CH3) for approximately three seconds.
- Sensor Sleep Function: When the soldering iron handle is placed on its stand, it will automatically stop heating and enter dormancy (sleep mode). This feature helps prevent oxidation of the soldering tip and saves energy.
