1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of Lifud LED Drivers, including both YM and YS series. These drivers are designed to provide constant current power for indoor LED light fixtures.
Note on Series: The Lifud factory has upgraded the YM Series to the YS Series. The YS Series features high power factor (PF) and is designed to be flicker-free, offering better quality and being more comfortable for the eyes. The YM Series also has a high PF but may exhibit slight flicker. Only a limited quantity of YM Series drivers are currently available.

2. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards.
- Installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Ensure the power supply is disconnected before any installation, wiring, or maintenance work.
- Do not exceed the specified input voltage or output current/voltage ranges.
- Do not open the driver casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Keep the driver away from water, moisture, and high temperatures.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the driver to prevent overheating.

5. Installation and Setup
The Lifud LED Drivers feature a screw-free design for quick and secure wiring connections.
5.1 Wiring Instructions
- Disconnect Power: Ensure the main power supply is turned off before beginning any wiring.
- Open Terminal Covers: Use a small screwdriver to gently pry open the blue terminal covers on both the AC input and DC output sides. Refer to Figure 8 for guidance.
- Connect AC Input: Connect the AC mains supply (220-240V) to the 'AC IN' terminals. Ensure correct polarity: 'AC-N' for Neutral and 'AC-L' for Live. Refer to Figure 9.
- Connect DC Output: Connect your LED module(s) to the 'DC OUT' terminals. Observe correct polarity: 'LED+' for positive and 'LED-' for negative. Refer to Figure 10.
- Secure Connections: Once wires are inserted, close the blue terminal covers firmly to secure the connections.
- Verify: Double-check all connections for proper polarity and secure fit before restoring power.

6. Operation
Once properly installed and wired, the Lifud LED Driver will automatically provide the specified constant current output to the connected LED modules when AC power is supplied. There are no user controls for operation.
7. Troubleshooting
If your LED lighting system is not functioning correctly, consider the following common issues:
- No Light Output:
- Check if the AC input power is correctly connected and active.
- Verify that the DC output wiring to the LED module(s) is correct and secure, paying attention to polarity.
- Ensure the LED module(s) are compatible with the driver's output voltage and current specifications.
- Check for any visible damage to the driver or wiring. - Flickering LEDs:
- If using an YM Series driver, slight flicker may be inherent due to its design. Consider upgrading to a YS Series driver for flicker-free operation.
- Ensure the input voltage is stable and within the specified range (AC 220-240V).
- Check for loose connections. - Overheating:
- Ensure the driver is installed in a location with adequate ventilation.
- Verify that the total power consumption of the connected LED modules does not exceed the driver's rated output power.
If problems persist after checking these points, consult a qualified electrician or contact customer support.
8. Maintenance
Lifud LED Drivers are designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation. However, the following general care practices are recommended:
- Keep the driver clean and free from dust and debris to ensure optimal heat dissipation.
- Periodically inspect wiring connections for any signs of wear or loosening.
- Ensure the operating environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges.
9. User Tips
- YM vs. YS Series: For new installations or replacements, prioritize the YS Series drivers for their flicker-free performance and improved eye comfort.
- Dimming Functionality: These Lifud LED drivers are constant current power supplies and typically do not support dimming unless explicitly stated on the product label or specifications. If dimming is required, ensure you purchase a driver specifically designed for dimmable applications.
10. Warranty and Support
Lifud LED Drivers come with a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.
