Setup
Before first use, ensure the battery is properly installed and the isolation sheet is removed.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Remove the circular isolation sheet located between the battery and the contact point.
- Insert the provided IMR 21700 5000mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tail cap back on securely.

Operating Instructions
The MC5 features a single-button interface for easy control.
- Power On/Off: Long press the switch button for 0.5 seconds.
- Change Modes: While the flashlight is on, click the switch button to cycle through modes (Moonlight, Middle, High, Extreme Bright).
- Memory Mode: The flashlight automatically remembers the last used brightness level (excluding Strobe) and will turn on in that mode next time.
- Strobe Mode: When the light is off, long press the switch button for 2 seconds to activate Strobe mode. This mode is only accessible from the off state and when not locked.
- Lock/Unlock: Quick double-click the switch button to lock or unlock the flashlight. This prevents accidental activation.

Charging
The MC5 features convenient magnetic charging. The magnetic charging cable automatically adsorbs to the charging position on the flashlight's neck.
- Connect the USB end of the magnetic charging cable to a power source (e.g., USB adapter, power bank).
- Bring the magnetic end of the cable close to the charging port on the flashlight's neck. It will automatically snap into place.
- During charging, the indicator light on the cable will turn red.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green.
- Maximum charging current is 2A.

Power Indicator
The switch button on the flashlight also serves as a power indicator. When the power is off, touch the switch, and the indicator light will illuminate for 2 seconds, showing the remaining battery power:
- Green: 50% - 100% (Very adequate)
- Yellow: 20% - 50% (Comparatively adequate)
- Red: 5% - 20% (Less)
- Flashing Red: 0% - 5% (Running out soon)

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your TrustFire MC5 flashlight:
- Regularly clean the threads and O-rings with a clean cloth.
- Lubricate the threads and O-rings with silicone grease periodically to maintain waterproofing and smooth operation.
- If the flashlight is not used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
- Avoid direct exposure of the LED to your eyes or others' eyes.
- Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your TrustFire MC5, consider the following common solutions:
- Flashlight not turning on:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Check if the isolation sheet has been removed.
- Verify the battery is inserted with the correct polarity.
- Make sure the tail cap is screwed on tightly.
- If the flashlight is locked, quick double-click the switch to unlock it.
- Light output is dim or flickering:
- Charge the battery.
- Clean the battery contacts and flashlight threads.
- Magnetic charging not working:
- Ensure the magnetic cable is properly aligned and connected to the flashlight's charging port.
- Check if the USB power source is functioning correctly.
